Comment:
Worst professor I've ever had. I can hardly understand his lectures over the thick accent, and most of the lectures are spent on google-searching tangents about his own personal opinions. He assigns way too much reading, relies on textbook to teach us the course. He tells us than an essay is take-home then later says it will be done in class. AVOID

The tests are absolutely ridiculous. He gives you a study guide before with over 60 definitions and over 60 short answers to study. Then, he chooses 10 definitions and 10 short answers to include on the test. How in the world can someone do well on the tests, especially since they are graded so strictly, using 2 decimal points to grade writing?

Brillant man, terrible professor. His lectures drag on, he goes off on tangents, and has no clear outline for the class. His lectures are filled with random google searches. His tests are 10 short answers and 10 essays that you must complete in an hour

Advice: use outside sources in your exams that correlate with the exam questions (just prove you understand the topic questions). Not all test answers are in the reading (not enough). Write down his examples during class and use those on the exam. He gives you the info, but you have to take notes and pay attention. Aced his class and you can too

How is this man a professor? I am a senior at this school and needed one more politics class for my degree. This class shat should have been an introduction to politics was instead, a jumble of long lectures and random google searches. He is impossible to understand. Do not expect to learn anything in this class.

Do not take this professor. His lectures don't help at all. He just rambles and googles stuff for an hour, which makes the tests almost impossible. Also, he takes off .5 points from questions if they aren't 100% what he wants. What does he want? Everything in your own words, not the exact definition. Stay away. Worst professor I've ever had.

Do not take him. Says the test is one day and then gives it to you before that day. Does not lecture about anything useful for the class. Get ready to have the textbook be your professor.

Prof. Bauzon is a great guy! He's very intelligent, a little hard to understand at times but very good. You must do the readings and study for the exams if you want a passing grade. Requires a lot of work. He's boarder line Communist but is willing to hear challengers. Good luck.

He is a terrible teacher. He has a lot of information but he delivers it in the most dry way possible. He requires A LOT of work from his students and is an extremely tough grader. Each test requires 3 essays and 10 short answers. Close to impossible to complete in 1.5 hrs. Do not take him if you're looking for an easy A. Farthest thing from easy.

Very nice man, extremely educated, but just a terrible teacher. If you're right winged at all, avoid taking his class, you will feel so uncomfortable if you do. He is not an easy grader, he takes partial points off even if a response is flawless. He's not concerned whether he offends anyone with opposing views. He has ridiculous expectations.

A bit crazy with the grading, you can't get a perfect score. He will take partial credit off of everything without an explanation. Nice guy, a little boring. And he does only explain one side of the coin, but explains the one side well. If your interested in learning leftist views to American and World politics you won't mind.

I took Professor Bauzon led classes twice about 8 years ago when I was an undergrad student. I come from a very conservative and right-wing family and he opened up my eyes to alternative and divergent viewpoints that still influence my thinking and my actions to this day. One of the more influential pr0fessors that I have ever had - & I have 3 MA's

Bauzon is a great professor. You might not agree with his perspective on things, but he does not force you to believe what he believes. A lot of the things he teaches and the book says are somewhat true. People are just afraid to challenge authority in our country, which is why so many people here try to say that he's "Anti-American," when he isn't

I went into his class to learn about both sides of the scale. Instead all I heard was glorified socialistic, highly liberal views, and anti republican views, this man ruined political science for me

I will not say he is anti american, however, I will say that his teachings as well as his assignments are very biased towards anti american views and has even belittled and purposefully lowered grades based off of students political views, even to the point that once the student apologized and sided with him, he raised his grade higher.

Professor Bauzon is not anti-American, nor does he try to make anyone believe his point of views. It is amazing that because the man speaks about what he beliefs, it makes him an "anti-American" that is what actually makes him American, freedom of speech right?! The only reason someone would not get an A in his class is because they can not defend

While I don't agree with the man's politics, I did enjoy the class. I definitely think that a prior interest to this material as well as a general knowledge of world history is a must for this class.

I Don't understand all the negativity on here. Professor Bauzon is amazing. Yes only teaches his point of view but he his open to others and isint critical of it in his grading.
