He is an amazing professor. Extremely intelligent, eloquent, but also caring and willing to make adjustments for the students in terms of deadlines. Participation is key to an A. These are entry level classes taken by mostly non-philosophy majors. All these narcissistic type of pseudo-intellectuals who didn't find the class difficult enough can GFT

This was the worst class I've taken as Brandeis. It was disorganized and work was returned late. The course is called what does it mean to be a global citizen however 90% of the classes were dedicated to American politics and the election, which was not what I signed up for or what is in the course description.

I absolutely adore his teaching style. He teaches in a highly discursive manner challenging thinking under many different circumstances which makes him an interesting lecturer. His stream of consciousness way of speaking is a testament to his once-great intellect. TA's should standardize their grades if they want this class to be fair to everyone.

I just don't really know what's going on with this guy. He seems more lost than Joe Biden. I'm sure he used to be brilliant but now just seems like he's enjoying his tenure and free faculty club lunches. Would probably take again under the right circumstances just because his classes are absolute peanuts. Nom nom nom.

Andreas Teuber is one of the kindest professors I've ever had the joy of learning under. He is well-respected and warmly received. He makes lectures exciting and fun. I hope to take other classes with him in the future. I definitely recommend this class if you're looking for a fun course taught by an intelligent and caring professor. The best!

Teuber is the type of guy who probably used to be brilliant, but then sucked glue every night to find his muse and shredded his brain as a result. Take his class if you want an easy A and the nutty professor aesthetic,

I took Intro to Phil with Prof. Teuber t Harvard and thought he was a gem! He is extremely accessible through email and helps his students out when they are stuck/confused. He wanted his students to to be open minded and think of all different types of possibilities to his paper prompts. Overall, he was a great professor and I would take him again!

Teuber is a character. The topics we learn is very interesting. Most days he goes on tangents which makes it difficult to follow what he is talking about.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. This professor is extremely bad at teaching materials. His TA's are not helpful at all. His latte page is a mess. He does not know anything about layout and design and he is just going to throw everything on that page.

I love Philosophy, and Teuber has the sort of "teaching style" that gives the discipline a bad name. He's passive and boring. He doesn't communicate with students, and after the class was over, out of the 4 papers I wrote, only 1 of them and only 2 received any feedback. What an annoying class. Easy A if you write what he wants to hear!

Teuber checked out a long time ago. He's a great guy to get to know personally, but he's not a good teacher. I don't know if he ever has been. He mostly lets students talk during class, where he doesn't lecture so much as "hang out." About the essays: writing ability is irrelevant. You need to say something he wants to hear if you want a good grade

Basically, if you want a free A, take a class from Professor Teuber. If you want to learn something about philosophy, take a different class (from literally anyone else).

It's not much about the class, but it's about the professor himself. He is absolutely intellectual and hilarious. I personally don't find the lectures to be helpful; however, the reading materials are so so so mind-blowing. His class definitely improves my thinking ability. Highly recommend.

Andreas's teaching style is to ramble incoherently into a microphone, while reminding his students that his dissertation advisers at Harvard were John Rawls and Robert "Bob" Nozick on a daily basis (as if compensating). The fact that this man has a PhD in anything, let alone philosophy, can only be explained by a clerical error

Comment:
This man is THE reason that philosophy has a bad reputation. He struggles with discussing the readings, preferring to stand with his back to the class, reading verbatim off of a massive PP on a projector. The poor TAs are the ones who do the actual grading. He mistakenly thinks that his high enrollment numbers indicate that he is "saving" the dept
