He is an amazing prof! I did not take my studies very seriously in first and second year, and did not do well in his classes then. My interest in archeology has increased since then and Dr. Triggs is one of the main reasons for that. He's a great lecturer and you can see he is truly passionate about his profession. He is a very inspiring man.

Pretty good prof. 3-hour lectures with him aren't torture which is pretty impressive. His use of his own personal experiences in the archaeology field makes his classes more interesting. He's an easy marker, though his assignments aren't always clearly explained and I've had problems getting straight answers from emails. Solid prof overall.

As I'm pursuing a career in Archaeology, Dr. Triggs is a lifesaver. Since he uses examples from actual CRM projects he's been on, you get a full understanding of the methods used. A large part of one of his lectures was how to get a job in CRM in Canada and how to travel and do CRM as a career.

Very boring class. Spends too much time on what not to do during a dig rather than the right way to do things. I understand that he wanst us to know why an approach is wrong but he spends too much time in a 3 hr lecture on it.

Not a bad prof. The end was broing subject matter, so I didn't go. Got a B+ in the class and did my paper the night before it was due. After the midterm he let people do an assignment to get bonus marks if they did bad. I thought the midterm was easish

I got a B on my paper in first year and apparently I didn't have a thesis. He's a pretty good guy, but his night class is sooooo long. There is only so much I can take. I usually left at the break.
