He's great! His interest in the course material is contagious and he's a good grader. Tests were easy. He really cares about his students and is like a cheerleader when grading papers. Recognizes and appreciates effort, so working hard pays off. He nominated a student in our class for an award and she actually got it! Very understanding as well.

I took both ENGL362 and ENGL363 with Professor Graham. There is a standard amount of reading for an upper year English course (6 plays). The midterms are heavily based on passages discussed in class, so attendance is necessary for a good mark. He is very clear about his expectations, but the final essay topic is open-ended.

A very decent prof all around. He seems really genuine and easy to talk to and is always there if you want to go over your paper or something. Participate in class, since it's a pretty big chunk of your grade.

This prof was great. The material of this course towards the end was a bit dry but you can't help but love Ken. He tries to engage students and he's just a genuine guy. Would definitely recommend!

Bit of a droning lecturer, but clear expectations of what's required. Gives you clues about what to focus on for midterms and finals. Definitely need to speak up in class and do readings, he will make everyone wait for a response. Doesn't mind making your answer sound stupid but focuses on general themes so it's avoidable.

Prof. Graham is such a wonderful person. I cannot say enough kind things about this man. He is SO understanding about missing class for personal reasons, etc. Poetry readings are done in depth so you never feel lost in the course. Class had a few chuckles about poems as well, like Gascoigne and his ?robin.? Fair marker as well. Just a great course!

He is a great prof, knows his stuff about Shakespeare, has an interesting outlook on things. If you read the plays you will do well on the exams, he takes passages he focused on, so just pay attention in class and do your responses! He isn't a super easy marker but you get the grade you deserve. He is very approachable.

A very nice guy. Generally enthusiastic about 16th century literature. He's smart and he knows his stuff but the lectures are really boring. He likes to engage the class in discussion, which is good, but every time someone says anything about any of the poems he seems to talk down to them, or treat them like they're stupid for their analysis.

He is a great prof. His class needs more lecture style as students don't enroll to teach themselves however he is enthusiastic, friendly and approachable. He is not a hard marker though definitely not easy... you basically have to make sure you know your stuff and you've made a true concerted effort.

very boring classes. Jumps all over the shakespeare books (when it would be better to take it one scene/act at a time) Barely says anything about the book, spends all our time looking at passages, and asks students what they think (stands there smiling when no one answers) group work sucks, get ready for it on first class of every play.

I found his class to be very boring. He encouraged a lot of class discussion, but never really said what he thought of the material (isn't that what is important). He is a pretty nice prof though. Needs classes to be more stimulating.

He will help you with any questions or concerns, yet he is somewhat of a hard marker. Make sure to have lots of outside sources and to really use textual evidence. Had to drink A LOT of caffiene though, in order to stay awake. All in all, a good prof. I did, after all, decide to take 2 classes with him. And yes he does sound like Kermit!

All in all a pretty good prof, although sometimes depending too much on class discussion and asking us what we thought. Good-natured and helpful in a vague sort of way.

Graham is a great guy. Lacks a bit in his ability to enthuse his students as much as he himself is about the subject matter. Also allows students who haven't done the readings off easy.

He's an enjoyable prof. He's very fair and an overall great guy. He's lucid and insightful. If you like an interactive class go for Graham. However, if you don't like to debate or talk in class he would not be for you.

He is a bad teacher is so many ways, it baffles the mind. He isn't clear on anything, which leaves you puzzled, doesn't offer any kind of workable structure and his lectures are anything BUT intellectually stimulating. He just sits there asking what WE thought of poems smiling stupidly. Sucks so bad
