For sure, sometimes he seems to be impatient and boring, but all the reading assigned are really interesting and the course design is amazing. Just memorize the lecture slides, if you are busy or lazy, no need to do his extra reading, can still get 80. I just went to every lecture, taking notes, memorizing the slides the night before quiz, got 96.

He is 100% unwilling to help. The readings he provided are not from reliable resources and lead students to wrong directions. Speaks jokes that not funny at all. And the lecture is not clear as his bad jokes. All depends on self-study to get higher marks. Worst prof I had for my whole university years!!!!

His way of teaching will not catch on with you if you are easily offended or have this image of the classic university professor. Dr. Green tells it like it is. Tough but fair. Extremely knowledgeable and though it may not seem like it, cares about his subject dearly. Go into his course with respect and you'll come out on top.

I was told beforehand that he was tough, I can see where that came from, but the man is a former marine and it shows, he has no patience for rock lickers. If you go to every class, type everything he says, and read all of the tiny readings you are guaranteed over an 80. My class average was weak from business students so he always bell curves.

Definitely not your average university professor, he's been doing it for 33 years and most students can't seem to crack his sarcastic (i'm too old for this) personality. If you get to know him and take an interest in the course you'll find he is a pretty funny guy who just teaches a different way. The quizzes are difficult but manageable

Green is one of the toughest professors I have ever had the misfortune of having. He is arrogant, untrusting, unhelpful, and fairly belligerent. Expect ridiculously detailed quiz material, surprise exams (didn't know those were allowed), and a semester filled with yelling. Do not take his class if avoidable.

Worst prof ever. Rude, condescending, should be fired. This 2nd year course is harder than all of my 4th year courses. Quizzes are ridiculous and quizzes often include questions that are not relevant to course material (i.e. multi tasking will degrade _% of my attention). He is rude to his TAs, and students. Avoid at all cost.

I took this course thought the content was gonna be interesting. However, this guy just proved how bad a professor can turn everything around, not to mention getting good grades. BROING AND TRIVIAL LEARNING MATERIAL + IRRESPONSIBLE PROFESSOR WORST EXPERIENCE IN WESTERN SO FAR (P.S. Now there are 6 quizzes and final is mandatory

The quizzes include the most random details. He tested material that wasn't mentioned in lecture and after the quiz for that lecture, he will post an excuse for why you should have known the information.

His quizzes are ridiculous. They don't test critical learning objectives, but rather test whether you were paying attention to every single thing that he says in lectures. I put in the same effort for the 6 quizzes, but the marks I received ranged from 60-90. This is a course you will get a bad mark in no matter how much effort you put in.

Green is by far the worst prof I have ever had. He is grouchy and rude. Do not expect this to be a bird course. You're better off taking CALC 1501 as an elective. If you must take this course, be sure to memorize every insignificant detail that you are almost sure would NEVER be tested. Course has potential to be interesting but TERRIBLE PROF

One of the worst profs I've ever had The prof can't stand that people take this course as a bird and as such intentionally makes the quizzes far harder than they need to be in order to artificially drop the class average. No textbook and he does not offer help to the students so his slides are all you have to go on. Avoid at all costs.

This prof creates a toxic classroom environment and strongly recommend to avoid any class he teaches. He is unappoachable and belittles students. He consistently receives low teaching evaluations every year. He is constantly reminds students he has tenure that ensures him continued employment regardless of his actions in class.

Comment:
Don't expect your third and fourth year marks with this "professor" to be sufficient for graduate studies. Bad faculty ratings all across the board, brings in zero research money and only comes into London once a week. Extremely demeaning to the students and there is a difference between a difficult quiz and an unfair quiz.

Good prof, boring lectures, easy quizes. He doesn't seem to be approachable because students usually argue over a quiz question with him to increase their mark or argues over a question on a quize that shouldn't count . It would be better if this course is based on a textbook so it has a referencepoint.

Green is a decent prof but makes it clear he has tenure and will continue to be employed by the university. The quizzes are frustrating but doable. Watch out for kids who have past versions of the exam, will study the day of the test in class and really piss off the individuals who actually put in the effort.

Comment:
I am in my third year and he is the worst professor I've had so far. I highly recommend not taking this class because it is useless, and he lies about what is going to be on the quizzes. He is also very rude and doesn't address questions. This is my worst mark this year
