Took the class during Fall 2014. EASY class. Great professor and very knowledgable (if you actually pay attention and are willing to learn) 1-3 short exams, usually matching.

Voigt is unclear and his lectures usually end up off topic. Very easy class but barely learned anything!

Voigt is a character. I enjoyed going to his class to hear all his stories. Class is super easy. Lecture not really mandatory. He gives you all you need to know a day or two before the exams.

These classes are easy, but it is because he is terrible at teaching. The worst professor I have ever had because he is so unorganized. He lectures at you like the class is stupid. The tests are just on facts he pulled out of his thoughts at random times and if you didn't catch it right away, tough luck. His directions are not clear at all either.

If you are a Kines or AT major, you WILL take Voigt. This isn't a class you have to stress over, nor is it one you acquire knowledge. He literally tells you the exact information you need to know the day before the test. I don't know about you but I want a class that challenges me to know the information on my own. Isn't that the point of college?

Awesome professor. Super easy tests and the projects aren't hard. He knows a lot and has a lot of experience. Will definitely cancel class and let you out early. I loved the low pressure atmosphere where I didn't worry about the test, so easy, so I could just absorb what he lectured on.

Very easy going, loves to see his students succeed. Brings in speakers and PT's into class which helps a lot. Class itself is easy, turn in about 4 things the whole semester because everything else is focused on having speakers. Good class.

He is an awesome guy. He is willing to help his students the best he can. If you have any questions or concerns he is very nice and approachable. This class if easy if you attend lectures on a regular basis; he emphasizes all the things you need to know for the test so if you show up you'll be fine. FULL of practical knowledge for a career in KINES

Voigt is an awesome professor. This class can either go really well or really bad for you. You HAVE to attend because he just lectures so you can add notes to the reader you buy. Sometimes he will give a study guide for the tests, and if he does the test is word for word what is given on the study guide.

Hands down my favorite professor at state. He's awesome and really cares about the subject. People can say he's "easy" as much as they want and if that's all you care about then great; but he'll actually teach you something and gives real life examples so you can implement them. He's fabulous all around!

I hate to give this guy low ratings, but let's not kid ourselves here. Sure, the class is a piece of cake b/c he rarely shows up or makes it difficult. However, i only feel less prepared when it comes to my career. Love the guy, just wish he'd want the best for his students & step down & to allow himself to get healthy so we can learn more

I found this class to actually steer me away from my original major of physical therapy. Although it is a pretty easy class, the lectures are so boring. When he taught the whole class time, i could nearly stand it. His test are matching, yet can be tricky if you didn't take notes on EXACTLY what he says. If he gives a study guide, you'll do fine.

Voight is really really easy. Dont buy the book, go to class and take notes on what he says. He will most likely cancel class at least 5 times a semester because he is really sick. Tests are matching and a complete joke, make notecards on key terms and you are golden. EASY A!

love prof Voigt! he's a really nice guy and knows a ton about the subject. you must buy the reader! class is a breeze, it's only an hour long, but he let us out early most of the time. only 2 (easy) exams. doesn't post grades quickly but you'll know that you have an A. didn't show up for class several times and he wont email you in advance.

Voigt obviously knows his kinesiology and still loves teaching. His method is very laid back: a few tiny assignments, an easy project and 3 tests that are straight from his lecture & packet that he & his colleagues created. His health really got in his way this semester & made the class way easier than it should have been. Great guy--get well soon!

Really great class. Take this class before there is a new professor, because Voigt is the best. We only had 2 tests. They were both straight out of the reader. Which you should buy. He gave us a study guide for the final. Class is not mandatory, but i always went. He remembers faces. Great guy. I got an A.
