I hadn't taken math in 11 years and still made an A. The software gives you the lesson, then lets you practice (step by step if needed), then you do the homework. Able to take quiz twice and receive the better of 2 grades, plus he drops the lowest 2. He gives excellent study guides! and emails back quickly.

Comment:

I had professor Hodges through dual credit from my highschool so the course was completely online but it was not difficult at all. The program in which he uses for all of the assignments is very easy. He is super caring and understanding and provides amazing lectures to help with assignments. Overall one of the best dual credit classes I've taken.

Comment:

I took the eight week online course for Math 1324. If you are not a math person this could be challenging for you. Lots of homework, lots of studying. As long as you do the work you will make the grade. Just keep up. Two exams and a final, all accumulative. I emailed the professor for help, he answered all my questions when needed.

Comment:

I took an 8-week long online course for Math 1324 from Prof Hodges! The online format was easy to follow, but you do have to keep up with the math work daily and also study a lot to get a good grade in this class. Prof Hodges was also really helpful when I emailed him when needed. I made an A in this class but be sure to put the effort in!! :)

He was a horrible teacher and over-complicated all of his lectures. I honestly would have learned more by not attending his class at all. He gets easily distracted and would teach something important in only one class period and never go over it again even if everyone did not know what was going on. Do not take him unless you like to be confused.

Im not very good at math, but Mr. Hodges is willing and wants to help. He gives a quiz once a week, and the tests are mainly from the notes.
