Go to class, shes really awesome at explaining the material. Goes by the text so reading it will help greatly. Tests are really concepts gone over in class, put in the work and you will be rewarded. Easy A for Chem E majors, kinda hard for regular Chem majors due to the math involved.

Tests are pretty much plug and chug, very much like practice midterms, grades on a curve. Really doesn't expect you to know much more than a really reasonable amount.

Do the work! Don't start the labs the night before. Put in the time and effort. Huge curve and good reward for effort

Physical chemistry is a hard class, you need to know when to ask for help. Go to lecture. Go to Office hours if you need it, remember that it gets easier. She is nerdy. Which is a really awesome quality in a professor, you know.

a very nice woman but honestly.... terrible at giving clear comprehensible lectures. The majority of the time i had no idea what she was saying & was completely lost. She tends to overcomplicate things and talks in monotone (BORING). My teacher was the textbook. HARD class, but AMAZING curve. pray for an easy TA for good lab grades. office hrs help

She's very nerdy. Gets a little too excited about chemistry and starts going off on complicated chemistry tangents that are above the level of the course.

This was the first class I had in college, and it was also probably the worst. 8 AM, incredibly difficult, terrible lab, and unfair unit amounts. You can do well if you go to every class and study, but there's nothing exciting about this class.

I really learned a lot in this class, but I had to do a lot of hard work. Don't sweat your grade. Her curve is VERY generous. Hint on the homework tests: Read up on solving systems of linear equations. Most of the "tricky" computational problems can be solved easily by creating a system of linear equations and solving the system.

I'm sure that Prof. True is absolutely brilliant, but she could not lecture coherently if her life depended on it. She derived Schrodinger's equation in class. Twice. I appreciate her passion for Chemistry, but lecturing is not her thing.

She gives a lot of history and experiments and as a result we are behind. Then she rushed 3 chapters in 2 weeks. The hw is really long and repetitive. The test is all based on the notes and homework. I went to office hour once, waited for 1 hour, but she never showed up.

Attending the class is usually useful though it can be somewhat boring. Don't stress experiments or derivations of equations. Make sure to look at the practice midterms. She is very helpful in office hours so go if you have any questions on the homework.

You're on your own, Prof True is way too into chemistry to be able to bring it down to undergrad level. My TA sucks which makes the class worse but Prof True is awesome.

Honors Chemistry, I personally never went to her office hours, but in class she wasn't that helpful. She basically expects you to read the textbook and understand the material. The lectures that she has aren't very detailed, and they generally skim over the material that you've already read in the textbook. Just hope that you get a good TA.

Nancy uses microsoft word as her visual aid/lecture device and she's not that clear during her lectures, but just read the textbook and try to do the homework problems and you'll be more than fine on the exams, because her curve was amazingly satisfying and just try your best.

she's really nice and friendly, easy to talk to, but she talks in a monotone. she also goes into a lot of stuff that is not so relevant - don't bother studying derivations of equations, classical experiments, etc. final exam was really easy, midterms were harder. do the practice exams and get a good TA - you'll be fine.

A very nice lady but a bad chem professor. Her voice would put yu to sleep and half of the stuff she says is not really that important. Thank god i had a great T.A otherwise...ouch!

Monotonous and unclear at times. She spends a lot of time concentrating on the details instead of the general picture. But she definitely knows the material.

A decent teacher if you manage to stay awake. Nice, easy to approach. However, get a good TA because some concepts she explains in very difficult ways, likes to teach chemistry as if it were a math proof.
