She was so late handing back our assignments. It didn't make sense for her to give us three midterms. Imagine taking four other courses-it would be too much stress. The first midterm followed too quickly after the first assignment. The final was early and it could've been easier.

Huge disappointment. I taught this whole course to myself from the textbook as I found it useless to use the lectures she posted (who weren't even of her). She was unorganized and made a lot of mistakes, which just added to the stress of an online class. Weekly assignments weren't helpful for studying for the tests. Final was absolutely awful.

Chris seemed lazy with online and the class was never set up on a good schedule. Always felt like a waste doing the weekly quizzes as they were nothing like the tests. For some reason she wouldn't post her lectures and stuck to Raj's and we all had to pay full tuition for a bogus prof.

No contact from her, did not receive emails from her, even thought I was receiving weekly emails from my other profs. I felt she put zero effort into connecting with her students and took forever to answer emails. And when she did her answers were terrible. All her lectures were not her teaching it was someone else. I recommend not taking her class

Chris is not a helpful prof at all currently taking math 121 with her online because of covid. She hasnt taught a single lesson yet and has used other professors work to use as her own on top of this she has ended our lectures early for ridiculous personnel reason leaving questioning and confused. Horrible experience so far

Horrible prof jumps around from thing to thing often gets called out in class by students because her work is incorrect makes the tests extremely difficult. Teach the class to yourself and stay away from her

Chris is a good lecturer but can get confusing when she uses a chalk board. She is a good lecturer when she uses an ipad to make online notes, I found it easier to understand the topics when having gone to class. Overall a good prof.

Comment:
Chris is not a great lecturer. She'll frequently go into examples using a new concept before introducing it, she wastes a lot of time writing full paragraphs on the board, and often gets lost in the middle of her own examples. Luckily, most of the material is available on Youtube and the textbook is decent.

She asked us to integrate an absolute value in order to calculate a mean, which I haven't done since MATH 116 and which also didn't show up once in the textbook, when the function could have just required that we integrate x^2 or something. I needed this answer for the next 6 questions. This kind of thing isn't abnormal in her class.

First of all, she always messed up in her lectures. There were times when a student would correct her mistake in an example because she didn't know what she was doing. She did easy examples in class then when it came to quizzes and test, the questions would be really difficult. I do not recommend you take her class. You'll regret it!

First midterm was just stuff taken from grade 12 calculus, so the class did well (no thanks to her rambling and confusing notes). She paid us back for this by making the second midterm and final very hard, and took marks off for tiny details. She didn't seem eager to help when asked. If possible, find another prof.

Chris was hands down, the worst prof I've ever had. The test questions were way harder than any of the examples we did in class. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The textbook lays out chapters in a logical order, but Chris jumped around and covered way more material than the book recommends for an intro course. In class, she only showed proofs and theorems rather than examples. I had to learn everything from the textbook. Final worth too much (60%). Avoid - take Math 264 if she is teaching Math 266 again.

If you are considering taking one of her classes - stop. Go find a new math class. As someone who got a near perfect mark in High School Calculus, I struggled with her. She didn't answer questions thoroughly and couldn't copy examples from the textbook properly. Inconsistent marker and her assignments aren't related to lecture material whatsoever.

Doesn't know how to teach at all. Is a complete scatter brain and can't stay on one topic for more than five minutes. Gets her TA's to mark assignment and gives inconsistent marks throughout. Her tests have nothing to do with what's covered in lectures and are tough. Would never recommend taking her class. Get ready to fail.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Unless you have had A LOT of calculus background prior to university.. AVOID THIS WOMAN AT ALL COSTS!! Switch to the other lecture while you have the chance, she was honestly the worst math prof in the history of the U of S! If you are stuck with her, get a tutor, don't even bother going to her class you won't learn anything.

Chris is a good prof, she makes mistakes sometimes and her lecture notes are not always helpful but for this math you have to teach yourself, Raj is an even worse prof personally i cant understand him or read his writing and he thinks hes funny but hes not. Chris is better to me but either prof will not help you in this course. Math help will!

Comment:
I attended every single class of Chris' and I knew how to do nearly everything that she taught us already from highschool. But that's the only reason I passed. She is extremely confusing. She takes shortcuts all the time and she doesn't explain herself. She is friendly, and she is willing to go over your midterms with you, but a useless prof.
