I didn't attend 3/4 of the course, still did well. He posts the powerpoints online completely filled out so you don't need to attend lecture. A nice guy, will bore you to sleep during lecture though. In retrospect a pretty awful prof, but take him, he's the only psych1000 prof who posts lectures online and you'll love not having to go to class.

I took this course online so I didn't expect to have my hand held, but this "prof" was terrible. Questions asked in the forum in the first term, that were unanswered at the end of the second. I probably could have gotten more out of a used copy of the textbook and YouTube. Avoid at all cost.

Truly an amazing professor. Biggs was clear, knowledgeable, experienced and a fair marker. He answered questions during class in a class of 500 and always answered questions during class break or in email. READ the textbook and go to class! He really helped fuel my love for psychology throughout this course. I really enjoyed his class! :)

Really didn't like him, and wish I'd known about Dr Mike way sooner. He often goes on tangents that are irrelevant and leave you confused. Not helpful whatsoever with his exams: "what's covered on the exam? everything from lecture and everything from the text" Thanks for nothing Terry.

Very boring professor, I only went to the first class. The exam is 3/4 from the textbook and 1/4 from the lecture, but he posts his slides online. As long as you put in the effort to learn the textbook, you can get 80+ without going to a single class. Not a bird course, but mark is reflective of the effort you put into it.

Prof. Biggs Showed up on time for class Once all semester. This includes the exams. Success in his course was directly related to how well you understood the textbook because nothing he teaches in class makes sense. He doesnt post slides on time (before class)making it hard to take notes. He is never around at breaks in class to answer questions.

Brutally dull lectures, he reads directly off of the slides and sometimes goes off on long tangents. Lecture specific content is sometimes tough, assignments are very easy.
