Randy was such a great professor. I really enjoyed his class and lectures. He was clear and concise and very helpful. His exams were easy and so was the midterms and final. The final ten page paper wasn't so hard and he is very helpful durinoffice hours. I would highly reccomend you guys to take his history 17b class.

Great professor and his enthusiasm in lectures truly shows his love for history. He really knows his subject. You have a couple quizzes, midterm, final, and a 10 pg paper on a book. You have to buy the class book as you'll be reading it all throughout the semester. He has a great personality and will have you laughing he whole semester. Recommend!

Professor Beeman is an awesome teacher! I had him for b18, history of california and 17b, history of the US. He is easy to listen to and won't put you to sleep. I used to hate history, but he made me love it! Wish he taught more classes, he is full of knowledge. He even tells you exactly what will be on the quizzes and midterms. Super easy as long as you're willing to work hard and make an effort to be in class! :)

Best history professor at BC! wish he were able to teach more classes than he does! I have taken 3 classes with him and loved all of them. Make sure you do the reading and make sure you show up. He will call you out if you walk in late or leave early. Very knowledgeable and you can tell he LOVES his job! I highly recommend him!

Amazing Professor! He is very helpful, and makes History actually interesting. Although I hate History I actually learned from him. He makes class interesting, and tells jokes about everything. He is a fair grader, he gives you the questions to the quizzes and exams ahead if time. Get good grade as long as you do and put effort into the assignment.

This is the teacher to take for this course! He knows his stuff! Very enthusiastic about teaching and hes always making jokes to keep class interesting. By far one of the best professors i've had at bc. The people who did not pass his class showed up maybe once or twice before a test. Seriously. Just show up, do some reading and bam. A.

Beeman is THE MAN! so enthusiastic and has so much pride and love for california history! he sets a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere and loveeeess to crack jokes :D THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CLASS IVE TAKEN AT BC. hands down. i actually liked coming to class.

I loved this class. I would take him again if I needed more history. As long as you do the work he des pretty easy. He also give plenty of opportunities for extra credit. He even has take home tests/quizzes.

Amazing professor. EC opportunity 5 quizzes if i remember correctly, 1 midterm, 1 research paper, and the final. Very funny fellow and makes history fun if you're not that into it, i already am so his class was awesome. Not an easy A, but very possible. No reason to get lower than a B. My favorite teacher at BC in 2 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Beeman is awesome! The most important aspect of him is that he *wants* his students to pass. He is always willing to help and explain things. Additionally, his textbooks are super cheap. If you attend class and at least skim the chapters assigned, you'll pass no problem. Also, don't ignore the take home assignment. The due date sneaks up on you.

Great teacher! Makes history very interesting and he is very funny. Probably one of the best teachers. I would definitely recommend. Tests were short answer but just take good notes and you should be fine. Needed book just for homework.

Was dreading this class during summer, but he changed my outlook on history. Awesome teacher! Best part is walking into class and he is bumpin wu-tang. I learned alot and its surprising the information i retained and use to this very day. Take him. He is the bomb dot com! The assignments require alot of info so pay attention!

He is the best teacher ive ever taken. took him for both of the classes he teaches. I hated History until I took him. All you have to do is show up on time. he dont like 4 u 2 b late. Also DO the reading and take notes. He makes the class so fun, I dont even look @ MY WATCH THINKIN IF CLASS is over yet. if u need help go 2 him, shows ur trying.
