I've had Jill twice and her classes are super simple. She is helpful if you have any questions. Her timed essays can be a little intimidating but if you do the study guide then you should have no problem getting through her course. Overall, a very nice lady and I would totally recommend her!

I took her class online so I didn't get a perfect sense of her as a person but she seemed very sweet and she was very accommodating! For each unit, we just read the chapter in the textbook, took a short quiz, and answered a discussion question. Pretty easy overall.

Jill is an amazing prof! There is so much content to cover in this course, but she does her best to get through it without overwhelming students. If she doesn't get through it all, she cuts it out of the course. The midterm and final are hard as you have to memorize 20+ works of art. Gets behind in her marking also. I loved the class though!

As a person who does not really enjoy art, Jill made this course fun and engaging. There are weekly discussions and quizzes. One paper, midterm and a final and she basically gives you all the information before hand.

I've had Jill for online AH101 and she was great! So knowledgeable, a really fair grader, cares about her students, and is really passionate about art history. I had her this fall for AH311 in person, and she's just as great but yes I do think she needs to switch up her lectures a bit! Millions of slides in a dark room makes you sleepy

I took this class as an elective and I found it very interesting. Jill was extremely clear about everything we needed to do, making sure we were all on the same page 100% of the time. She was very understanding about technical difficulties, as this was an online class, and adapted accordingly. She is very friendly and always glad to help.

Great professor and great course! Enjoyed studying about art history hugely. Easy discussion posts, but not so easy assignments. Quizzes were a bit tight: 20 questions withing 1/2 hour, but you can use a book and Internet. Final exam was rather hard, but if you prepare questions she gives ahead of exam, you're okay. Hooked me on art history.

Really good teacher. A lot of material to learn in this course , however, if you do the quizzes every week and the one assignment that she posts every week and keep up with your participation, you can get a great mark !!! no midterm , but some timed essays to do online but they weren't too hard and were exactly as she explained prior.

Great teacher, fills in the blanks where the text leaves off and can answer questions to most things involving the Renaissance. Would highly suggest for for first time and continuing AH students. As long as you go to class and read the text, there will be no surprises on exams or what is expected on essay's.

Took her online class, she is a great teacher and super helpful, but her marking scheme is very random and impartial, I was one percent away from the mark I felt I deserved and she couldn't really give me a good reason as to why. Overall decent prof, but is SUPER picky and random for marking

I would definitely recommend Jill even for a 4 hour class. She switched things up by eliminating an hour and adding a very simple online discussion on a brief reading. She made the classes very interesting and even the students presentations were helpful and not a waste of time.
