This bruh is pedantic, but you will earn an A- or better by simply following all of his instructions, as written. Quizzes are hard, but they account for only 10% of your total grade. My average score (out of 4 quizzes) was 70%, meaning -3% from 100%.

He isn't a hard grader as long as you follow the rubric and ask questions before the projects are due! Very helpful but you need to seek him out, which most responsible students do. He was a great resource when I was building my son's library and this was after I took the course. Always polite to me and asked how my studies were going.

This teacher canceled 5 of our 12 classes and expected us to do extra work because he canceled. He would cancel last minute, about an hour before class and then would assign work days later via email. He expects perfection but does not show you how to achieve it. He is not flexible, not willing to help, and seems to enjoy giving people bad grades.

Wow is he boring. Monotone, talks incessantly, and somehow you can never give a completely right answer. His final was difficult, he was a harsh grader...I just don't think that there's a way to do really well in this class with him

I thought this class would have been fun, WRONG! He is such a boring teacher that has such strict rules for his stupid assignments. Alot of work for this class that is unnecessary. I really left with no new knowledge. I highly suggest another professor!

Why do teachers like this teach? I mean, if you are on a power trip, why not become a drill sarg.? He needs another job and we need a more understanding, more caring teacher who can teach and not drill.

Dr. Kerper is not that bad. He knows his stuff. His projects take a lot of time to complete, but if you do what he asks then you will get a good grade. For the midterm and final he gives long study guides, but as long as you do them and the online book quizzes you will be fine. I was afraid of Kerper at first, but I really enjoyed his class.

Very difficult class. Lots of projects and high expectations. Has you buy and read many children books, most of which I did not like. Lots of work, don't take if you can avoid it.

TERRIBLE! He's an ok guy.. but a terrible teacher. I hated this class. If I would have had every book every week, maybe I could have had a C-. But my group busted our butts on that video thing and still didn't do very well! I have to retake the class and my D+ was less than 1 full point away from a C-!

i was looking forward to my Children's Lit class thinking i was going to gain a better appreciation for children's books. Turns out...Dr. Kerper has stressed me out beyond all belief assigning a million books to read at once and expecting "thoughtful" responses to them as well. I can assure you, mine will not be thoughtful because i dont have time

Worst professor I have ever had! Very intelligent and likes to listen to himself talk, but not actually interested in whether his students are learning or not. Only interested in watching you fail.

I really liked Dr. Kerper. Yeah some of his quizes can be brutal, but if you pay attention in class and do the readings you will be fine. Do what he says in the syllabus and don't be afraid to seek help. He is a wealth of knowledge and that is a benefit to students.

I had Dr. Kerper for my students teaching, and I am really thankful. He was very insightful, and you knew that any praise was well earned because he is not the kind of person to sugar coat everything. He is tough, but fair, and had high standards which you will want to meet.

This teacher is unfair, unusual, and unpredictable. I truly do not know of any students who think he is that great. I think he reads these, if you want to know the truth, and rates himself. Keep your sanity and stay away from him!

He may be really hard, but he definitely knows his stuff. It's really great having a professor who is really involved in his work. The class isn't easy, but if you're an ELED major, you shouldn't be expecting easy classes, especially at this level.
