The BEST Prof in the French Dept! He is caring, compassionate and allows every student to participate. He wants to see his students do well and takes the time to explain everything in detail. The course books are great and as long as you put in the work, you will be fine. I really recommend any student to take his class. It is definitely worth it!

He's so fun! This class was very easy and he was very caring, he almost called me when I was off of school for a while and he was so understanding. The actual class is nice, he covers the textbook and take up homework and we take a 15 minute break and leave early too, it was like being in high school!

As a human , he is so nice person and respected. I don not think he is the best candidate to teach 1020 entry French course. If you really want to learn French don not consider his class.

Professor Badr is by far the best French professor at York. Not only is he funny, he is compassionate and generous with grading. He gives quizzes which are super easy. His essays are graded fair as well. I found the two tests the most difficult. There are a lot of presentations so be prepared to speak. Easy A for the most part. The best Frenchclass

Always talks about being fair but he is not fair at all. The teaching method that he uses makes it harder to understand the topic. his English is horrible many times students were having difficulty in understanding and explaining themselves. If you want to learn French RUN AWAY!!! from this instructor.

Amazing professor. Cares about the well being of all his students. Everything that is assigned in class for homework is well reviewed and explained the next course. He is humorous, sweet and gives such easy tests! Always gives tests with multiple questions and asks you to answer maybe 5 of the 7. Super easy grader, but you must have proper spelling

So he was an easy prof teaching an enjoyable class. After every book we had to have a quiz on it and it was worth like 5% & just easy marks. One question you will always have is WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE TITLE! His essays & tests are a little harder so the only advise I have is get you ish editted! He is awesome!

Amazing prof! Once you get to know him, you'll see that he's very passionate about what he's teaching and very helpful. He does make fun of students (once in a while), but they clearly deserve it. In a 3rd year course, you should at least know your PRESENT TENSE PEOPLE!! Take his class, show him you care about the course and you will be just fine!

Overall, very easy class which also happened to be interesting most of the time. The prof goes very slow with his explanations and makes sure that everyone understands, which on the downside can be boring for those who are quick at picking up concepts. He comes to class prepared and cares a lot for his students and their achievement.
