Great professor. Expectations are crystal clear and grading is very fair. As long as you go to class and take notes, you'll get a good grade. Lectures are interesting and well done.

Solid prof. Very fair marker, and cares about her students. Not hard to do well in the class if you attend lectures and read the text book. Overall a quality professor.

Most of the reviews about Dr. Young say that attendance is mandatory, this couldn't be farther from the case. all the information for AR 225 and AR 221 can be found in the respective textbooks. Furthermore if you took AR 104 with Dr. Lord its the same textbook. Dr. Young hands back marks 7 days later without fail. She's the real deal.

Young is a really great prof if you give her a chance! I had 4 classes with her this past year (AR 201, 214, 215, 225). A lot of people think she's boring but get to know her and you'll enjoy the class a lot more. Her tests and assignments are easy if you show up to class and study. Would definitely take a class with her again!

Loved both CL204 & CL206! Come to class and sit near the front. Her expectations are clear from the beginning and her tests and grading methods are very fair. More than willing to help and accommodate students that ask for help. Textbook isn't necessary (if you attend lectures), but I enjoyed reading it.

Easy class but also good prof. Rambles a bit but she's cute and clearly explains what will be on the essays and exams. Shows lots of film clips so you get a nice visual break. Don't buy the textbook cause you won't use it

only midterm, in class essay and final so minimal outside of class work. clear lectures if you go to class, if not, you can find a lot of it in the text. nice, clear prof. gives clear and helpful instructions. good idea for a senior level elective.

One of my favourite profs I have ever had. Professor Young clearly explains everything and makes lectures interesting. You do have to come to class, as she doesn't post slides, but if you show up, listen and take good notes, you'll get a good grade. She'll tell you exactly what to study for exams. Great prof

AMAZING prof. anyone who doesn't like her is crazy and should change their major, she is fair, helpful and loves her subject. You can't slack off or you will fail, show up, take notes and you will be fine. bottom line is people who fail her classes usually deserve to. I hope to have her all 4 years, and she is NOT boring your just not interested

Very monotone, doesn't connect with the class very well, and demonstrates an inability to keep the classes attention. All of her classes are just repeats of the same material. Do not take morre than one class with her in a semester or you will lose your mind and waste a substantial amount of time relearning the same thing over and over every class.

Incredible prof. She's the most adorable woman you'll ever meet, she gets so passionate about her subject and her lectures are usually long (3 hours) but she makes the time go faster. All you have to do to get a decent mark is go to class - she doesn't post her lectures. Her exams and essays are easy, I scored an A+ in both her classes.

Great prof, she seems like she likes teaching about the Greek gods especially Dionysus. Class was easy, for the in-class essay, I thought I did bad however I still got an A. You have to go to every class since she does not post the lectures, take notes. Know the Greek and Roman terms for definitions on Exams.

Great Prof. Made fun of the Greek Gods and stayed true to the course outline. Straight forward and said what she wanted to hear. If you get her, go to class and listen. Simple class, but you still have to do the work.
