Professor Sarsar is an amazing guy. His lecture's are boring if you do not like the material but if you listen you will be fine. He is very lenient when it comes to grading, especially essays. He is always there for you and will find time to talk to you. I highly recommend taking one of his classes.

I had to take this class for my major but waited a long time to do so becuz I was scared the professor would be overly political and anti-Israel. Do not worry! He does not assign controversial assignments and the class is very easy to do well in. No textbook just powerpoints.

Professor Sarsar is well educated and passionate about what he teaches. While the lectures are long, I felt like he had a genuine love for the material he taught and it was refreshing to have a professor that cared so much about the topic and his students. I took this for my ISP requirement and I'm glad I did!

Prof. Sarsar is a good professor and he really cares about the subject he teaches. He is very knowledgeable and a very relaxed guy. I had to write 3 papers for his class and they weren't too bad, and he has group quizzes in class which are open book. His exams are all open ended questions but I didn't find them too difficult. I recommend him!

Dr. Sarsar is really nice and passionate about I/R and world treaties. He wants you to learn the basics considering that most of the class was taking it for a gen ed. Very easy and will give you every opportunity to succeed. I am happy I took for a gen ed.

For sure one of the greatest professors in poli sci. He really knows what he's talking about when he's teaching and always answers any questions to the fullest extent. He's willing to go out of his way to make sure his students are successful and he always responds to emails within less than a day which is rare at this school.

Professor Sarsar is one of the best professors I ever had at the undergraduate level. He is inspirational, is very fair and unbiased regarding the politics of the Middle East, and is always there for his students. I had him for two classes (PS 375 and PS 376) and wished that I could have had him for several more during my time at Monmouth.

Comment:
Yeah, the people in this class who claim Sarsar was pompous was because he challenged their belief structures. From what I saw, Sarsar was an expert, and some of the students (only 2-3) were the pompous ones. I enjoyed the class, just make sure you do the work and pay attention.

Comment:
Very pompous and full of himself, seems to think that everything he says is groundbreaking. Gives useless powerpoints and rambles about personal experiences. However if you just show up and feign interest you can pass easily. His exams are really easy and he doesn't assign much actual bookwork. Ok to take if you need to pass a class.
