Prof. Leslie is one of the best professors I have ever come across. Analysis 1 is a hard class and he provides fantastic intuition. He cares deeply about his students and the lectures, and it comes through. He was always available to help beyond the lectures and truly inspired me to learn more math!

Best math professor Ive had by a wide margin. Organized, clear, and cares about his students. Lectures were engaging despite being an online calc lecture. Disabled students are never an after thought, which is hot (captioned videos, clear exam times, etc). My only gripe is that he was just visiting :(

One of the best professors I've ever had. Extremely clear explanations, dropped lowest exam, homework is similar to exams, and exams are easy to study for. Lectures are asynchronous (recorded). Responded in a meaningful way to feedback about course technicalities. Assignment due dates lenient. I really wish he wasn't leaving Madison :((.

Good teaching with detailed explanations. Homework is a normal quantity but it will take some time. Overall it is quite easy to get an A. And he replied all my emails and often notices students for homework and exams. Quite considerate

Conducted weekly tests which seemed like a lot of work but overall was a great way to keep students engaged throughout the semester. Fair grading criteria and great lectures. Best Math professor I've had at UWMadison.

He is really nice! His lectures are clear enough to understand hard concepts. HW really helps to review and understand more out of class(a little tough). He gives study guide before every exam and tells you specific topics that will appear in the exam.

He is one of the best math professors I met in UW-Madison! He provided extra credit for midterm 1/2 for completing related questions in the final. With his detailed notes and detailed solution to practice problems to exams, it's quite easy to get a satisfying grade.

Awesome professor! By far the best math professor I have had here. He takes time into creating lecture notes, is always on top of communicating with students, and is a fair grader. Great feedback at office hours and he takes the time to explain things for understanding.

I'm not sure if linear algebra is actually easy or if he's really just that great of a prof. Def take his class if you have the opportunity! He's very thoughtful about all of his lectures and course material and is very accessible to students. I learned so much and I actually feel confident in what I've learned. He's great, take his class!!!

Very caring professor. Definitely could tell that he spent a lot of time outside to prepare for his courses as he types up his own notes and homework problems with easy to follow steps. Exams are fair and would only test the content covered in lecture. Would highly recommend!

Best math professor I've had at this university. Trevor gives clear and concise explanations both in and out of lecture. Bottom line is that you will learn a lot if you put in a reasonable amount of work.

Trevor is the best prof I had at the math department. His lecture is very clear! He puts so much time and effort into the class. He typed up his notes, detailed homework solutions and uploaded them all onto canvas. Trevor is a great professor and a great person! Exams are very fair and there are extra credit on the exam. Def take a class with him!

Hard class but Trevor makes it as straightforward as can be. Fast paced but very well thought out lectures, accompanied by custom lecture notes that he himself prepared. It's very obvious that Trevor has an aptitude for teaching, and you will learn a lot from him.

Best math professor I've met in UW-madison so far. Intelligent, passionate, humorous, caring, humble. More useful stuff: no textbooks, use his own notes for the course; a lot of challenging homework questions(basically no solutions online, due weekly) that really make you think; exams are easier than homework questions. Just take his course.

First analysis is generally a really hard class. So no matter the professor this class will be hard. Trevor is a new teacher but he is very nice and you can tell he cares about students. There is a lot of homework for this class, and it is a lot of work in general. But I think he is one of the best professors to take this class with!
