This class is easy, you have to do 3 discussion. He posts videos daily, and mid term, his final is 20 questions. He gives you enough time and feedback off the videos which help you during both test. I would take him again

Professor Rubin is definitely caring and always easy to reach. (By phone call which is a lot easier than typing out emails and waiting for a response). The briefs are simple and to the point and he drops video lectures every week. Just study the briefs and call if you have any issues and you'll do fine.

He's ok. If you try to email him he'll just reply to you and tell you not to email him and call him(which I'm not a fan of). He gives you many case briefs which is understandable being that it is an online class. He can be a bit discouraging if you're struggling, he told me "shape up, or pull out the class" and practically yelled at me via email.

This professor is very caring! He cares about his students. If you give him a call he is always available to answer any questions. He does not want his students to fail. Class mostly consisted of discussing briefs, a midterm and final. He reviews before you take them! I WOULD take him again...

A lot of case briefs but given it was an online class. His only way of contact really is by phone call (which I still don't get), if you email him, he does not respond at all which is ridiculous. The class was all over the place, disorganized. Its an easy A yeah, but just all over the place.

Took Professor Rubin online course. The class required briefs, posting current news articles and how they relate to the lecture, a midterm and a final. He is always available via cell phone and will answer any questions one may have. Video lectures are very clear. If you take notes and read the chapters in the book, the test will be easy.

I had Prof. Rubin a little over twelve years ago; glad he is still teaching. I enjoyed the class so I took another class he was teaching after. I was having trouble figuring out what to do after I graduated and he gave me some guidance & had me come to his Law office. The guy really is a good teacher. I work in Litigation Technology now.

He gives A LOT of homework. You have to brief cases every week which can turnout to be 10 pages of writing over the weekend. He is very accessible through his personal cell phone, he encourages people to call with any questions. Mid term and final are super easy. He mostly cares about participation and the case briefs. Be ready to work hard.

Professor Rubin is very knowledgeable and experienced being that he is a lawyer. We had to bring in an article from a newspaper to every class and he would randomly call on 3 students to stand and read them to the class which wastes too much time. Besides that, he truly cares about his students and is very accessible if you have any questions.

BEST PROFESSOR OUT THERE! Even though I didn't get to have his class in person, he was always there for us students via video lectures and calling him. Would recommend everyone to take him. Assignments consisted of briefs, no midterm, final was 50 questions. ( Keep in mind this was a three-week summer course).

Be ready to read and make sure purchase your textbook (9th edition only). Midterm and Final (I. 40 mutiple chocies; II. A short story, answer scenario-based legal Q ).

Prof. Rubin is a very smart person, he is a lawyer so you can imagine he knows a lot about law and is also very passionate too. HiS class is not an easy A, but if you do the case briefs(about 3-4/week), listen to his video lectures(1/per assignment) and pay attention when you take the midterm and final you can get a good grade.

He is OKAY. He gives 5 case briefs or more and you only have 2-3 days to do them. However, if you don't do so well but ace the final he will give you an A. I remember when I took him, I didn't do most of his cases and had a B- in the midterm but I got an A in final exam so he gave me an A- as the final grade.

Just amazing. Thats what I can only tell who ever is reading this. All you have to know is that he's a very honest, patient and generous man. You'll do case briefs at least every week just to challenge your memory and he gives a midterm and final, no papers. His lectures are the best to listen to, participate and bring a article to class everyday.
