My first semester I had him for intro to philosophy, the class was fantastic and the quizzes were easy. I enjoyed the class so much that I added philosophy as a minor and had Tuggy my second semester for Humanity and Divinity (this one requires work, a 10pg paper, and is difficult) and my third semester for Medieval thought. 10/10 would recommend!

Probably the easiest class you can take and a CCC. Study guides are provided with fill in the blank paragraph spaces, so you can just print those for note taking and memorize them. Lectures are very long. Some can be interesting, but usually they are kind of boring unless you are interested in the topic. Book is needed for pop quizzes.

It's a lot of note taking, and you MUST study or else you won't be able to pass the class. He does not take attendance but he does give a lot of random pop quizzes so I just suggest you to go to every class. Besides that he's a pretty cool guy and is passionate about what he teaches. The topics we discuss in class are pretty interesting.

I really enjoyed the class and it is a CCC for. He does not take attendance but he has pop quizes on readings from the textbook and a few short responses about class. A textbook is required, almost every night there is a reading about what we will discuss next lecture. The class is very easy- just go to class and take good notes. No essays, 4 test

Good teacher; he really knows his stuff. Tests are fine if you study. Gives pop quizzes here and there. He's really monotone though; I'm interested in philosophy and still found his class boring just because of the way he speaks.

Least favorite professor. Only gives you his side of an argument, and if you argue the other side he'll make up his own interpretation of things until you concede that he's right. Impossibly boring and disorganized with his lectures.

I love this guy! His jokes are cheesy but he's a true scholar and a very good professor. He really listens to student comments/arguments/questions and responds appropriately. PHIL224 was super easy with detailed review sheets.

Very funny and intelligent guy, knows his stuff! Very good at not being biased when talking about religions, even calls out ignorant christians when they are completely disrespectful towards other beliefs. Classes can be a bit dry, wish things would get shaken up a bit more

Dale is a good guy. He tries to crack jokes in class but they aren't all that funny. If you take notes and sign his reading sheets you'll do fine. Just be prepared to be bored the entire semester. He's very monotone, and that makes his classes VERY long.

I liked his class overall. So far I haven't hated any philosphy teachers, and I found his class fun. I did find it long sometimes, but his jokes lightened it up. There is a ton of readings, so if you don't like reading philosphy, don't take this class. Pay attention to everything he says, and study for tests and you should pass!

I think he's an awesome dude. Just take notes on what he says as opposed to what he writes on the board and you're golden. He's also pretty funny if you get his humor :)

Class was always way to long and boring. He rarely cracked jokes but when he did they were quite funny. The class was pretty tough. There was way to much stuff online that he just expected you to know. Wouldn't recommend him to be honest.

Class is boring to no end and his jokes are cornier than a popcorn machine at a movie theater. He's not a bad guy though. He's also a decent teacher to boot. However, I wouldn't ever take another class with him again.

I absolutely hated the guy. He made a lot of unecessary ****ed jokes which apparently he thought made him cool of something. I was never interested in what he had to say and dreaded going to class. I dropped it and it was the best decision I ever made.
