Comment:
Conter is probably the most chilled out teacher I've ever had in my life, In PHIL1250, the class average tends to be around 75 so as long as you're putting in a moderate amount of effort you will do well. It's only three 3 paged (double spaced) essays you need to write throughout the semester so the workload is basically non existent.

Great professor, tells really good stories to help you understand the concepts really well. On assignments he wants to see that you really know the course material and wants you to give good examples of the concepts, if you go to his office hours he'll help you. He's also very nice and even gave me advice on an essay for another course.

Conter was one of my favourite profs. He is so fascinating to listen to and really helpful when you go to his office hours. He doesn't use slides and the course is difficult if you don't pay attention to what he's looking for but if you show up to class, ask questions and do your readings its not hard to get a good grade at all.

He gives great lectures. There is a textbook, but he goes into detail explaining the chapter for that week. You could honestly get away with not buying the book if you go to every lecture and take good notes.

Conter's one of the funniest profs at huron, his lectures are entertaining, breaks down all the hard stuff into easier concepts through funny stories etc, assignments are easy if you're a good writer and can analyze well, 10/10 would recommend him

I've taken a few classes with Conter, I love them all. His lectures are loose(ish)ly based on the text material. He tells a lot of stories that are related to the course work. He's engaging and a fair marker. 10/10 can't wait to take his phil 3645 group agency class in the fall.

One of the top 3 professors I ever had at Western. He is a really smart man. He's a great story teller and uses stories and personal anecdotes to make complicated material easier to understand. Also extremely funny guy- tells at least 5 jokes per class. I think I took 6 classes with him and loved them all.

I took David's courses on ethics and philosophy of war years ago. The man had a knack for lecturing in a way that made difficult ideas stick. I never knew then that I'd end up working for the UN one day, dealing with the dilemmas presented in his class. Take David's classes!
