Comment:
Dr. Keep was my least favourite professor at western. He's incredibly rude unless you're an english major... and as a science student needing to get essay credit courses he regularly talked down to me or flat-out ignored me. I slipped out of a lecture ONCE very quietly as I felt very sick, and he stopped lecturing to point out how rude it was.

Professor Keep was one of the few Profs that would make me excited to go to class. He was extremely passionate about the course and clearly put in a HUGE amount of effort into preparation for each day's lecture. He re-sparked my love for literature and reading by shaping boring readings into fun ones. I highly recommend him as a prof!

Keep is quite the character. So enthusiastic and caring about his lecture content. I'm a science major and I was excited to go to his lectures. There is a bit of reading and beware the novels come up on you quick the second half of the semester (recommend reading them over the summer or during fall reading break).

One of the best professors I have ever had in my 4 years at Western. He is very passionate about his work and is super enthusiastic - really makes you want to go to class. Always really friendly and willing to help - going to his office hours helped me out so much. I will for sure be missing him as a teacher.

Professor Keep is an absolutely amazing professor. His animated lectures make those 9:30 am classes go by so quickly. Prepare to have your mind blown during his lectures, and also be prepared to watch him act out scenes. Overall not a hard course, but definitely stay on top of the readings! Also, watch out for those pop quizzes!

he doesn't mark your stuff so can't say much about that. He's a cool lecturer but he's kind of overrated. During office hours he's not very nice unless you're an English major. He makes you feel pretty stupid. I would recommend going to TA's instead since they mark anyway. Easy course if you put in a decent amount of work and decent lectures.

Lectures are really engaging and enjoyable. Keep is very insightful, explains concepts clearly, and is enthusiastic in every class. He wants you to succeed and will help you when you ask for help. I learned so much about artificial intelligence and was provoked to think critically about what it means to be human. Take this course!

Professor Keep is frankly the best English professor I've ever had. I had the privilege of being taught by him in both my first and second year, and I eagerly look forward to being in another one of his classes for my third year. His lectures are extremely engaging, and he finds a way to make even the dullest subjects seem interesting.

My biggest regret is not taking the second semester of his Storytellers art. It was an AMAZING CLASS. This was my elective and I pulled a 90 with little effort, just showed up, payed attention, and read the readings. Get prof, made lectures fun and interesting. He's a performer and you will LOVE him.

Awesome prof! Really cares about the subject matter and his students, tries to keep lectures interesting. Stay on top of readings or you will flounder. Go see him if you have the slightest question about an assignment, he was a life-saver for my final essay.
