Comment:
Simha is very knowledgeable about SAP and really cares about his students. His class consists of lecture (50+ powerpoint slides/lecture), bi-weekly quizzes (Low weight doesn't affect grade too much), SAP configuration assignments (walks you through step by step), and a final exam (take home) where you have to fix config. errors in the system.

Simha is the SAP master. The assignments are easy, but the quizzes & exam are hard. The quizzes are the typical terrible MGT multiple answer questions. This was only offered as a 6-9 and it was really hard to take in 99 powerpoint slides in one night. Highest class average on quizzes was like a 62% but somehow it doesn't affect your grade too much

Comment:
Quizzes are impossible to get perfect scores which brings your grade down dramatically since they are weighted so much. The exams have a super low average because they are impossible. SAP homework is the easiest thing and it is still annoying. Avoid this class in general.

SAP quizzes aren't bad if you practice a lot before, homework also isn't bad if you follow along. However, there are two exams that average at 70-75%. I don't understand profs who are okay with that low of an average. Reading quizzes are hard even if you take notes, so read over it multiple times. Overall I suggest taking a different prof.

Really liked him. This class is pretty easy in terms of the assignments which are due basically every week. They're actually kind of fun. The only reason I rated this class a 3 on easiness is because the exams are pretty hard. They are based solely on the lectures which have nothing to do with the assignments. Use textbook to do well on exam

i would take this with McGinnis, i heard he was better and i believe it. his exams had multiple answer questions which had a weird grading scale, and it can really screw your grade up, because of all the snow days we didnt finish the book and im glad because chapter 9 seemed difficult and we had to skip it,

This class really uses SAP as its basis for explaining integrated business proceses. There is a ton of sheer info that you just have to study for the tests. His tests are multiple choice and multiple answer, and you have to study the book and slides to get decent grades. This class is the basis for TERP10 certification, which just got me a job.

He does not explain the material that well. Unfortunately he is the only one who teaches the class. He gives practice questions that are on the test so study them. Also he gives extra credit, do all of it because it help your grade out a lot!!!

Very boring. Your in the computer lab so you will surf the web the whole class. The subjects aren't too hard and if you have a good group, you will get a good grade. Try someone else but he isn't the worst teacher to have ever. You can easily get a b with minimum effort

Class is somewhat easy... His lectures can be boring. Gives practice questions before tests that end up being on the tests. Fair grading. No book. Offers extra credit. Overall, good teacher!

Good teacher, ok class. Group projects take a lot of time and tests are hard. Getting a B would be fairly easy, an A is some work.

Prof. Magal is worth taking for this class. He wrote the book you use, so naturally he is very resourceful when you ask him questions. He gives you PowerPoint slide, so if you miss class, you can catch up easily. The group projects are the only downfall to the class because they are pretty time consuming.

Pretty easy class. Professor isn't that hard to understand. He makes things easy for you to learn and gives you what you need to know, not pointless material. The group projects are the worst part of the class. They are time consuming and completely pointless. Pick your group members wisely!!!

Horrible, horrible professor. Worst I've ever had. His class wasn't any real teaching, just rambling. 25% of your grade was participation. You would get roughly half of those points if you spoke average. How is 50% average? Pretty much the class was just people interupting each other in the fight to get participation points, not real learning.

A very good teacher for a very good class. Highly recommend above all the other MGT268 profs. Exams are based on quizzes and book, so lecture is more for understanding. Assignments challenge thinking, and are normally group projects. He's very helpful towards students on all subjects.

Prof Magal had a very well-structured class. Didn't move too fast, nor too slow. The lectures rarely helped my understanding, but I already had a lot of experience with what the course covered. Used the book for things I didn't understand. Online quizzes for each chapter were no problem. Would be an easy A for anyone that can use a computer.

Simha is great. He expects lots of class participation, but that makes class interesting and fosters learning. Check BB for your participation grades and talk to him if you believe you should be getting better because it's somewhat subjective. I felt like my input was valued and respected. I highly recommend this professor.
