Extremely chill professor! Highly recommend taking over the summer. Course consisted of 4 (1hr.) lectures and a quiz each week, biweekly exams, and 2 discussions. Exams are a bit tough (MC+FR Qs) but hosts study sessions before each exam. Lectures are very interesting and interactive. Very friendly and always willing to help! Relatively easy A!

He is cool in his lectures, (you can tell he enjoys teaching anthropology), and his tests are dependent on the lectures and PowerPoint (but they're pretty fun to watch/listen). He is very cultured (as in he has a lot of pop culture references). Most of your grade is dependent on the 3 Exams, but he covers everything, just pay attention.

Course is based purely on exams and quizzes but if you pay attention to the lectures then everything is there. There is a main report that is worth 50 points. It seems like a lot and very stressful, but it is super simple and only time consuming. Just make sure you do your best on the test and quizzes. 8/10 would recommend

Great Professor that cares about his students. Very easy to reach out to and very understanding. The class is mainly quizzes and tests but everything you need to know is in the lectures. There is 1 group discussion assignment that is relatively easy. 9/10 would recommend his class

It was a great course. I took it online both the lecture and the lab class. I say the lab is a little difficult, because of all the bones, however, he had good material to learn from. Attendance is not required, but I strongly encourage if you have time.

This is a professor that you can tell really cares about his students and makes sure to deliver an educating but still interesting lecture. As long as you pay attention (which isn't hard since his lectures are actually pretty fun to participate in) and take notes, there's no way you'll fail this class.

One of the best classes I have ever taken. Lectures are recorded but it's best to attend them live. If you pay attention to the lectures, exams and quizzes shouldn't be too hard. The material is pretty overwhelming but other than that, I would definitely recommend this class!

Proff. Kohler has been awesome. He's very down to earth and understanding of the stresses of being a student during Covid. He's extremely clear of what he expects and what we should be focused on, and he somehow makes each lecture super interesting! As long as you PAY ATTENTION and take notes during the lectures you will pass this class no problem!

Lectures are recorded, pretty easy-going class and he makes the lecture interesting. There will be a lot of different species presented so be sure to make lots of notes. Gives out 2 chances when taking quizzes and exams which are super helpful. Overall, this class was worth taking.

Good choice for a professor if you need to fulfill your science requirement. Not the kind of science professor that wants you to fail. His lectures have everything you need to know for his exams and quizzes, just take notes and stay engaged. His study guides served me well when studying for exams, which take up a large portion of your grade.

Professor Kohler is great! Since our class was online, he would record lectures and post ASAP. This was definitely helpful for me since I work full time. His lectures were really engaging, and the info was actually interesting. I took the 6 week summer class, so we did have a quiz once a week, an exam every other week, with 2 discussion assignments

Pretty cool class, especially for someone who cant stand anthropology. Professor Kohler is a easy pass IF YOU PAY ATTENTION & ask questions. Got a C this semester in the lab but a B in the actual ANTHRO class lol.

Although this class is graded on a very few things; as long as you review the lecture slides he posts, you'll be good to go! He is a bit of a tough grader so just make sure to read the instructions super carefully to avoid losing points over anything small. Great professor, I really enjoyed his class.

I wrote a previous review; I took both lecture and lab together. This lab had 3 exams, 3 quizzes, and a observation report. Unit 1 was different from the lecture and was about the human skeleton. The next unit went with lectures, which helped. In the report, write lots of details and do it sooner than later, when primates are more active. :)

There were 3 exams and 4 discussions. He is an amazing professor that explains everything, and never once did I feel confused. Just show up, write good notes, and make flashcards. The questions in tests are from the lectures and do not try to trick you. In discussions, follow guidelines, and you will be fine. Highly recommend.
