Comment:
David Hollier is very unprofessional. He is SO out of touch with what it's like to be a teacher in the 21st century. He gives horrible advice & frequently gives students incorrect/inconsistent information. If you really want to learn how to be a good teacher, do the exact opposite of what Hollier advises. Such a shame he's in charge of the program.

Dr. Hollier is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He was unclear on due dates and penalized so hard for late work that I received a C in the class. He has been the most heartless and I empathetic professor Ive ever met and Im so glad hes retiring!!!

Don't know where to start. This guy expects students to do everything according to his expectations yet he is the most disorganized person and he really makes no sense when you talk to him. I'm only in his class because I don't have another choice. I can't believe this is the person in charge of my grades and my future.

Comment:
Professor Hollier diversifies content to meet the needs of his students well. He gives clear criteria for all assignments and communicates with students in a timely manner. However, he is extremely close-minded and judgemental towards students. A final project, pop quizzes, and lesson plans make the bulk of your grade. AVOID, if at all possible.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES. If you have a chance to take a class with a different professor, do it. His course load is so heavy. I have not learned anything from his classes, which is saddening. All we do in his classes is make shapes out of paper and glue. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND.
