Professor Trujillo was a great professor. You need to attend class because most of the time there are in class assignments that are graded. The tests and quizzes were straight to the point, review chapters and you will pass. Not many homework assignments. Not many extra credit opportunities.

Professor Trujillo was a solid professor. There was very little homework assigned and he is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about his field. There were never any surprises on tests or quizzes. So long as you take notes and pay attention in his lectures, it should be a relatively easy course. Would highly recommend.

He was the best professor I had this semester. You can tell he is very passionate about the subject, making the class enjoyable, especially when you have him for 3 hours. Tests are fairly simple as long as you pay attention and take notes during lecture. I would say class is mandatory because of random in-class assignments. Overall, great prof!

One of my favorite professors! Always made lectures fun and enjoyable as he is very passionate about what he teaches. There are in-class assignments everyday so you must show up. Assignments are on the easier side as long as you pay attention. Tip for passing exams and quizzes: take notes from lectures and textbook and ask questions when confused.

Took the 3 hr lec for this class online/zoom, very lecture heavy but bearable. Multiple quizzes & 3 exams. If you pay attention in lecture and take notes the class is very easy to understand. 1 big diet analysis assignment and 2 papers due. Responds to emails fairly quickly.

He's really sweet and you can tell he's passionate about the subject and cares for his students. He lectures a lot though, and he kind of made the class boring and dreadful at times. Exams aren't difficult if you take the time to study. He is understanding so email him if you plan to miss class, because there's usually always an assignment to do.

Honestly he makes a basic nutrition class harder than it should be. He expects you to know and understand every little thing. It wasn't that hard of a class I just don't like having to try in a class that is boring. Class is not made fun or interesting just power point lectures. Not the worst choice ever but you know

Loved Professor Trujillo! He was a very easy-going professor and very caring. He does give out in-class assignments, so show up to class. The midterms and finals were easy as long as you read the book and pay attention in class. The homework was pretty easy as well.

Hes super passionate about the topic and clearly cares about his students. Graded by quizzes (online), 3 exams (index card allowed), a few assignments (easy), and easy in class assignments (almost always done in groups). Read the book, he includes questions directly from the end of chapter quizzes. Stay on top of your work and youll be fine!

Such an amazing professor. First year in college, first nutrition class, he makes going to class enjoyable. He takes attendance by in class work done. Midterms/Finals are easy. As long as you pay attention and take notes, this class is so easy. He's passionate, and it reflects on how he teaches the course!

Hes alright. He makes NUFD 10 a lot harder than it needs to be. Its a really boring class and he does nothing to make it more interesting or easy. I wouldnt take him again but if his the only choice its not terrible.

Hes a good professor. Every class there is some sort of group activity, but they're easy points. During class, he'll also randomly give out extra credit points so always come. Allowed one side of notecard for exams - honestly without it I wouldn't have been able to get an A. Stay on top of your work and do the assignments and you'll be fine

The first time I've taken this class @ Sac State, I received a poor grade. I'm so thankful to have taken it with this prof because not only did I get a good grade, I actually enjoyed it (after thinking that I despised it when I took it with a former professor)! Prof Trujillo is very organized and lectures in a way that is easy to understand.

You're studying for a standardized test, so it's not an exciting subject, but he teaches it well and has interesting stories from his days as a healthy inspector. He grades several in-class activities and gives extra credit for some in-class stuff as well so attendance matters. The assignments are not hard, just make sure you get them done.

I had his three hour class which was kind of boring. However, we were always let out at least a half hour early which was awesome. He has clear grading criteria and is very knowledgable in food safety and sanitation. I would take him again.
