Comment:
She is such a horrible human being. She genuinely enjoys being rude to her students, even when they address her with respect and kindness. Dealing with tough professors is apart of life, but the way in which Ms. Wang talks to her students is unacceptable. She wants to burn bridges with her students and loves to watch her students fail.

Incredibly unhelpful, doesn't teach the course or appear in the posted videos yet somehow is constantly "too busy" to respond to emails and frankly is quite rude in her responses. I had a little bit of an accounting background and the modules are pretty straightforward so I was able to do well but this professor is very poor.

This "teacher" does not teach anything. Instead she lazily uses online material from different professors and puts it together into error-filled weekly modules with quizzes that have inconsistent formatting. She is an insult to McCombs Business, The University of Texas, and the education system as a whole. It blows my mind how she's a UT professor.

Please save yourself and don't take her for the online class. The videos are useless and taught by two random professors, one old guy and another guy who looks and talks like Tobey Maguire. Her quizzes are mostly on quizlet but not everything is so you should know the content fairly well yourself. Luckily she curves the class. DO NOT RECOMMEND HER.

This was the worst class I have ever taken. There was not enough time to learn the course work before the weekly quizzes. The weekly quizzes are 40% of the grade and the final was 37%, which means even if you do well on the quizzes you could still ruin your grade with the final. Do not take this class, it caused an excessive amount of stress for me

Most of the business foundation online courses are structured well except for this one. It was still an easy A, however the syllabus is a mess and lots of the homeworks had wrong answers or she would take forever to post assignments and not give you the time she originally alotted for you to take them.

Going into the final I wasn't sure I was going to pass this class but somehow pulled a B-. This professor does adjust the grading point which helps but I took very little away from this course. The lectures aren't professor Wang and seem outdated. Had to seek out help from a peer who basically taught me the entire course.

I have absolutely no idea who the hell May Wang is. This whole class is based off online modules and two really old guys who recorded videos in what looks like 1995. The quizzes are incredibly difficult and nothing like the actual modules or practice problems. The final worth 39% of your grade is not terrible but I'd take it in class if possible

Missed one assignment and was unable to continue with the class. Emailed her, and she then scolded me and REFUSED to unlock the assignment so I couldn't move past it and continue the rest of the course. I had to drop the class after I paid for it and the text. She was grammatically incompetent and unreasonable.

lmao everyone here is bashing the class but it's literally 2-3 hours of work/week for 3 hours of credit; you can use your notes and the canvas textbook during the graded quizzes so there's literally no reason to miss any question. honestly it wasnt that bad, final was easy. inb4 "may wang shill" also thank you TAs for all your help <3<3

I finessed the assignments all semester and had a B+ all the way up to the final. I thought I was in the clear, bt the final was worth 39% of our final grade. Prof. Wang didnt give clear instructions on how 2 study. It was through ProctorU, so I bombed it, sent my grade to a D+. There was a curve so I made a C. Save yourself and take it in class!!

This class was awful. The final is worth 39% of your grade and you only have access to the unit quizzes of each unit. Final worksheets had a bunch of typos and did not really help. Most of the answers of the unit quizzes don't have explanations if you got them wrong and don't say the right answer. Did not feel like a foundations class.

This is quite literally the worst class I have ever taken. Quiz questions are stupid, very unlike material seen before and often blatantly incorrect. They curve the class down, which is awful. I also have no idea who this instructor is, considering all of the lecture videos(which are at least 10 years old) feature old men. Don't take this class.

The formatting of the class online was just tedious and you did not get enough practice for the unit quizzes that are due every week. Take the lecture. This was the first semester they offered this class, hopefully they'll make changes. You need to be able to practice and ask questions.

ACC online is hard. Don't do it. Online sounds easy and nice but you end up just teaching yourself everything and it sucks and I'm failing currently. Esp if you aren't a bis major like me. Just do the actual class, trust me. I take notes and do the practice problems and still fail the weekly Quizzes plus there's a cumulative final. rip gpa

Unit quizzes every Thursday are basically tests and are pretty difficult, usually only get about 20 mins to do 16 questions and a lot of them are math based. Course material isn't hard to pick up on but sometimes doesn't make sense. Just take it in class and not online
