Worst prof Ive ever had at IU. Personally, I thought the class was easy because I took AP Stat in HS. Somehow manages to take 2 wks to grade a MC exam. Do not recommend. Also she has groupwork that forces you to go to class every day, which just plain sucks. Were college students not kindergarteners.

Professor Mejia was literally the WORST Professor I've ever had in all my time at IU. She does not explain material well, and don't even bother asking questions because she just gets frustrated and keeps explaining the same confusing way. Everyone in the class was always confused and homework was terribly long. AVOID PROF MEJIA AT ALL COSTS!!

Absolutely awful. Knows what she's doing, but does a terrible job explaining concepts in language that a non-mathematician would understand. HW takes legitimately 3 hours to finish one problem. Requires the use of R data software which is just a waste of time and makes everything more difficult. However, she's good about extending hw/quiz deadlines

Professor Mejia is the worst professor I've had at IU. Don't take a course with her unless you have to. Her lectures are very boring, and she is terrible at explaining the concepts so that they're understood. Most times throughout the semester the entire class would be confused on a concept right after she explained it because she's never clear.

This was the worst professor I have ever had, avoid her at all costs. Her lectures are boring and extremely unorganized. She has daily attendance and in class quizzes. When you ask her a question, she has a very hard time explaining things in a different way. Her homework is extremely long and unnecessarily hard. Do NOT take this class with her.

She is an absolutely awful professor. This is easily the most boring class I have taken in my entire life. She makes the homework assignments ridiculously tedious and the lecture makes me want to rip my ears off. I would rather take 10 semesters of Organic Chemistry than take this class again.

Great statistician, horrible teacher. For this class you have to be prepared to take a ton of notes. She hardly every does any example problems. The tests seem unnecessarily long and hard. For the second test of the year she had to curve it like crazy because hardly anyone finished. Also R didn't help either, just made stuff more confusing.
