Loved this class and assignments designed to make you think about history. Easy high grade if you pay attention to syllabus and answer questions with thought and incorporate studied materials.

She takes over a week to respond to emails. Also takes forever to grade assignments. Why create so many if she can't turn in grades within 3 weeks? Online class is not well structured and exams are super hard.

Wouldn't really recommend her online anthropology course. She throws a lot of information at you from day one and expects you to remember all of it. The final isn't cumulative but you kind of have to guess and what will be on each test because there's so much information thrown at you. Don't procrastinate and do all the discussion boards!

Get ready for a lot of lectures, boring videos, and timed exams. Took 3 weeks to get back to emails.

Autumn Cahoon's online archaeology class is one of the most absorbing classes Ive ever dealt with. First week and you're inundated with dozens of pages of articles, hour-long documentaries, three-part discussions technically due the second day (the rubric of which demands youve read it all already), and thats not even the book. You'll have no time.

I'm currently taking the hybrid of this class, so half is online and half is in class. Cahoon is an amazing teacher. She is extremely personable, and makes the class fun and enjoyable. The online tests are a little difficult, but with online resources and notes its not too bad. Lecture notes are SUPER important for this class. 10/10 would recommend

Make no mistake, you will work in this class and by no means is this a guaranteed A. The thing that I enjoyed about her class is that you learn about not only ANTH, but about why you think, look, and act the way you do. What I learned is to not read the book, but read the online lectures she provides for tests. This saves copious amounts of time.

She was a really good professor. The class was pretty easy. Each week there was a discussion board, article with a quiz on it, lecture notes to read, and sometimes a video to watch. There were 3 exams and they were not too bad just make sure you study!
