This class is hard. Mowchan is by far the best teacher of it. You may get slightly better grades with other professors (he doesn't curve) but as you go into 241 you will be thankful you took him.

very nice professor, his powerpoint is very clear. phones and computers are not allowed during class but he allowed you printed his powerpoint before his classes, so that you don't need to take notes. as long as you prepared before his class, do his homework carefully, your grade will not bad. in addition, he gives us a lot of extra credits.

Overall good professor, he addresses questions clearly in class and if you visit him outside of class. He gives examples in class that are similar to the homework and tests, take notes. Acct240- learn the material as you go along, very hard to cram for.

I love Mowchan, he is a great professor and person however, this course is exceptionally dry. That isn't really his fault but, if you take this class be sure to put in work outside of class to master the material. Overall, there are a ton of extra credit opportunities AND, he is extremely accessible outside of class.

He is the nicest guy, the class is hard, you have to work for it, but if you go for help he is more than willing. Just got to be willing to put in work, but I would take again.

Everyone giving him bad ratings just don't to put the work in. Prof. Mowchan is honestly one of the nicest, most genuine professors in Kogod. His class requires work but it's super straight forward.

The worst professor at Kogod encountered so far. Why give out a study guide for a test and then don't take your questions from it? He taught 3 out of 5 sections in the spring of 2017 and the other two sections filled up fast. Avoid.

Great guy, great prof. Very straight forward lecturer, explains concepts very well. Tests aren't too bad, he basically tells you what's going to be on 70 percent of it. Very accessible and helpful outside of class as well and he gives 2% extra credit at the end of the semester.

Tough class but amazing professor. Super sweet and helpful. You get what you put in to this class, if you work hard you will do well.

Professor Mowchan is about as mediocre of an instructor there is in the world. Homework in the class takes a while, and what you learn in class won't help you do the homework that much. Tests mostly consist of difficult multiple choice questions along with a few short answers. Teaching is not that great but his exam practice sheets are very useful.

Mowchan is a nice enough guy, but his homework and assignments are exceedingly difficult as the semester goes on. He only gives 2 exams before the final, and if you do poorly on one you're pretty much screwed as he doesn't do curves. Even with office hours, you never retain the info as he just tells you the answers. Probably wouldn't take again
