Her class is very bearable. She is always prepared and can tell she really takes the time to clearly articulate the lecture so you can understand. There are papers throughout the semester. If she feels the class did not read the material prior to class, a quiz will be given. She loves if the entire class actively participants in group discussions.

This professor was amazing. I learned a lot in class and you could tell that she was interested in what everyone had to say. Overall, the class was easy to get an A, but you definitely need to show up for class.

Only one easy test other than that, you have to lead a group discussion with a partner (it's not bad at all) and write a final paper. There are readings assigned each class but you can do fine without reading.

Comment:
This class is discussion-based, not lecture based. You don't just talk about women, but also issues that face men, crimes, media, politics, etc. She is very open to different opinions (other than blatant sexists). There is one midterm, a final paper (not exam), reading responses, participation, and other assignments that counts for grade, but easy.
