2 books, 1 is an MLA handbook which I reference still when needed and the other is for class discussions and helps with essays. 4 essays, and an annotated bibliography assignment. The readings are very interesting so make the most of it! I left feeling like a stronger writer and that I learned a lot :) Not a lot of work, you'll be fine with her!

Taking this class was a good experience for me. Prof Limon is a great teacher and cares very much about her students. I will say, she grades hard with MLA format and grammar, so always double-check EVERYTHING.

Professor Limon is amazing, and I wish more professors were like her! She is passionate about her subject, but she's also passionate about hearing what YOU have to say, which is great when most professors only want to tell you what to believe. Honestly the best teacher I've ever had (and the BEST discussions: Batman and V for Vendetta? Awesome!)

Based on the class material, she's not such a bad teacher. But man is she completely mean and not understanding at all. She comes across so condescending. She is pretty inaccessible outside of class. Any excuse for abscences/tardies don't fly with her. My grade dropped 10% in the last 2 weeks bc I lost my home in the Camp Fire and she didn't care.

At first I was intimidated by her and the coursework, but honestly its not that bad. If you do all your work and try hard, you can get an A. Shes very laid back. There is a lot of reading. Basically all we did was read and then discuss the reading as a class the next day and we had a journal everyday. & papers and one pres. Take her!

Prof. Limon was the person who made me a great writer. I was fortunate to take the Summer class so we only had 3 essays, free writes, and a presentation, plus attendance. She's amazing and hilarious! Very laid back and I would definitely take again 1000%

Great professor. May seem intimidating at first, but her class turned out to be really fun. She also has a sense of humor and likes when the class participates. 4 essays but you have time to do them. Will have free writes so make sure to read and you will have to present a reading to the class. Show up, do your work, and you'll pass

Prof. Limon is super passionate about what she lectures on but there is a lot of reading, usually 20+ pages a night (sometimes 40-70 pages) and then you discuss the readings the next class meeting. 4 essays but you're given plenty of time and the lectures correlate exactly to the topic and she gives you 2 class periods for peer editing workshops.

Took Kim 2 times because she was so awesome. one for engwr 300 and engwr 302. Both times I passed. If you do the reading and go to class for discussions, the papers are a breeze. It is a lot of reading though so make sure you dont overwhelm yourself with other classes. She also grades more on substance than grammar. Oh and turn in work on time

She's a great professor! She knows how to get you engaged in class and get you motivated to write your papers. Although she assigns several essays, they all have interestiong topics and you'll discuss it enough in class that you will leave with plenty of ideas. I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot! Take her, just do it.

I took Professor Limon's class during the Fall of 2015, and she has been my absolute favorite at Cosumnes to date. She really makes you reflect on the readings, pushes you in the best of ways, and cares for your success. Just keep up with the readings, participate in class discussion, and work on your papers; you'll do really well if so. Take her!

You have to read and write a lot, but she's definitely a great professor. She lets the class lead with discussions rather than just droning on, and really helps you to think critically. This is a class you definitely have to put work into for a good grade but her classes are so chill that it doesn't seem painful to get through.
