Philosophy is complex, yet he makes it so inspiring and connecting! I love this professor. Unlike many professors, you can tell he is genuine and loves what he does. Will be taking again!

Comment:
He would have been a great teacher if he taught in a religious school. He has a very narrow understanding of contemporary philosophy and does not understand that philosophy is beyond morality, good and bad. Talks about religion in every class. Although it seems like he is not an advocate for religion, he has a religious perspective on philosophy.

Comment:
Don't take this professor if you care about your grade. His syllabus states he does not give minuses but he will, even if you earned more than the required points to achieve the grade you want. He never updates canvas with grades and the final is worth 40% of your grade consisting of a bunch of terms and concepts he either barely goes over.

Comment:
Class started mostly with indigenous religions and he had some really insightful takes on the topics, however, once he got to christian topics, he got a little preachy. Also, the more modern, the more black/white. Mostly you have to show up to class and pay attention to bolded concepts to pass the final. There are also several written projects.
