Class is always fun to attend, do not recommend skipping class. If you do skip it, you can miss out on some important information. Easy to make up skipped class or a lab. Don't need a book. Make sure to study everything as you go, so you wouldn't have to learn it all by the end, because lectures get faster and harder as you go. Use studying modules

Psarras uses Pearson online, which is really helpful for exams. He offers extra credit and we don't use the textbook much. It's not an easy A, you have to keep up with the material. He posts videos of his lectures so attendance isn't required but its helpful. There is an online quiz almost every week but they're easy.

Comment:
My grade was much higher with Dr Psarras in gen chem 2 than it was with a different prof in gen chem 1, but I don't think I learned as much. He bribes students to like him with extra credit out the wazoo, which works. I wish I could get a good grade and learn a lot, but you have to choose one or the other in the chemistry department at CSU.

Dr. Psarras is BY FAR the best professor I have had. I had him for prep chem and he was SO enthusiastic about his lectures and made everything pretty enjoyable. He relates the material to real life situations/examples to help you understand it better. & he goes over missed questions. Highly recommend this prof! You will not be disappointed.

I am not naturally good at chemistry, and had to work hard for my grade. The chemistry department at CSU has not provided me with a great background, but Dr. Psarras is the best professor I've had for CHM at CSU so far. This semester I actually learned something. Homework is extra credit, and he is hilarious during lectures. Highly recommended.
