Comment:
Very fun and laid back teacher. The material really gets you thinking about things philosophically and is almost uncomfortable because you are questioning and making aware of how your own framework operates especially if you never have delved into philosophy or any abstract critical thinking. He is very relatable and very reasonable

Great professor and great class. Grade is based on discussion boards every week and then two papers during the semester. The grading criteria is very clear and he makes it easy to get a good grade if you do your assignments and follow the instructions. He is also hilarious and makes the class engaging. I highly recommend this class.

Great professor and very understanding. There are two assignments every week but as long as you do the reading it will be easy. He provided great resources to help grasp the information. He actually gives feed back on assignments. Great teacher all around and would definitely take him again.

He is very knowledgeable of what he teaches but seems to forget that this is an intro class sometimes. He tends to talk in circles and is very confusing but if you read the textbook you will succeed. He is very friendly and chill. Only 2-3 grades, 2 big papers.

He does a very good job of accommodating students of all skill levels -- for a 101 class the material for a typically jargon heavy subject is easily understandable and he really encourages his students to engage with it. He loves engaging students about their concerns outside of class and is very helpful and supportive when things come up.

Professor McCammon is a fantastic teacher, extraordinarily knowledgeable about his field, provides lots of opportunities for class participation, and structures his classes greatly. The essay assignments were especially thought provoking, but he is more than willing to provide guidance to make sure you're on track. 10/10 would take again

McCammon is that professor that has patience when it comes to dumb questions. He is willing to sit and explain something for however long it takes until you understand. Also, he is super hipster and has great style. I would love to take another class of his!
