He was nice but is a little rough around the edges. He means well and has a lot of real-world experience. I felt like a lot of the work I did was busy work and I didn't grow my technical skills as much as I had hoped. Made me realize I didn't want to major in art, but I'm thankful I learned that in my 1st semester and not later.

His printmaking class is a real gem, he mainly teaches you the basics and lets you work with whatever interests you. Funny to talk to and always is supportive in whatever you want to try, makes a really great learning environment for making art.

Great art professor - he's open-minded and willing to work with you on projects that interest you. He won't just hand out good grades - if you slack off he can tell. That being said, he's not too difficult of a grader so long as you put in the work and show that you're willing to try new art techniques.

While he can go off topic at times, and can be a bit indecisive to what he wants, I ultimately found his class very enjoyable and worth the work he expects you to put in. A very knowledgeable man if you listen to him, has a broad idea of what art is, making any approach seem welcome. Would take again if given the chance.

Comment:
This class is pretty chill, and you get to work on your own pace in the things you are interested about. He teaches you the techniques, and he lets you go from there. If I could, I would take the class over again. He's funny and he is extremely knowledgeable. He loves to teach you new things and suggests avenues to take in your art.
