Very understanding and patient with students. Dr. Campbell truly cares if the class understands the material or not. Doesnt return grades back in a timely manner, but if he sees that the class average on an assignment is not too good then he provides another opportunity for students to do better. He wants you to succeed!

Love dr. campbell. He gives clear guidelines on what we were being tested on and he made adjustments to accommodate the global pandemic we are living in. Def an easy A if you complete the review questions.

Dr. Campbell is a great, engaging lecturer. Don't bother to buy or search for a pdf for the text. We never used them. All content was based on his lectures for Evolutionary Medicine. Be sure to review your lecture notes periodically. His exams are essays, so cramming is not a wise idea. He tests you on at least a few concepts from each class

Really enjoyed Campbell's Evol Med class. Very informative and always has data to back up lectures. Hilarious and always interacts w/ students and cares our success. If you complete his review questions, then you will be set for his tests; they are the same. Very considerate when it came to COVID crisis, kept in mind students had a lot going on.

I took Dr. Campbell for Evolutionary Medicine. He's very nice and is usually willing to compromise with students. His lectures are pretty interesting and he encourages in-class dialogue. His exam questions are the exact same questions as the review questions at the end of his slides. He likes long, detailed answers. Lab is VERY programming based.

Dr. Campbell is a real gem in the Bio department. He is super caring, and wants all his students to succeed. He goes above and beyond to help you. I took him for Evolutionary Med, which I loved! The only downside was the lab, which is heavily genetics programming based. Do the lecture review questions and you'll get an A on the tests.

I had him for genetics in spring and the first test he gave was composed of essay questions worth 20 marks each, the whole class failed so he modified his subsequent exams, his review questions at the end of each slide are his exam questions, he expects you to know a lot of content for each exam so go to class write notes and read the text book,

Dr. Campbell is a young professor and definitely learning the in's and out's of teaching. He's really caring about his students. Not difficult at all, but maybe that will change as he gets more comfortable with teaching? He really tries to remember all of his students, but it doesn't hurt to make sure he knows your name!
