I took this as an online course, and found I have learned little to nothing. All of the assignments are on Connect, and guaranteed a grade of 100 because of unlimited attempts. Never had any contact with the professor, I did not need it, but found a sense of disconnection due to the fact. A mediocre course. If looking for easy grade take this.

Teacher does not care about students that much, shows up, gives lecture, and leaves with little specific help to students. Teacher does not take attendance, maybe 30% of my class shows up every time. I have gotten some extra credit out of showing up. Although the online weekly homework and quizes help your grade in this class greatly

Don't listen to the review below me. 1. Attendance isn't mandatory 2. If you show up to every class your attendance extra credit points raises your grade by 11% 3. The connect assignment and quiz literally takes less than 20 minutes to complete. (It's only one a week) 80% of the students in the class skip everyday and now they complain SMH

Worst class Ive taken in this year of school, this class was supposed to be a breeze. She is super unresponsive and unhelpful, does not make ANY exceptions for grades. Offers no extra credit and if you miss a homework assignment, its gone. Even though the material is on ConnectED and can be extended, she wont. Highly recommend avoiding!

This is a hard class, probably because you have to remember micro and calculus. She teaches the information, since no one remembers the topics. Homework is hard, but you will learn. She helps on exams, but will not tell you the answers, she explains so that you will be able to figure out the answers. You will learn all your economics in this cl

I did not want to take this class, but it was required for my major. Professor Miller made the class interesting and I am now considering a minor in economics. She gives good examples that makes the theory relate to the world. I would take other classes with her.

Not a hard class, you get many attempts to get 100 on HW and Quizzes. You must study for exams. But exams are very similar to the practice exam she gives out. Final exam is optional.

She will make you work for your grade, but is a good teacher. Works with outlines and reminds you when assignments are due. Answers questions with good examples. One of the better teachers of economics.

Miller is one of the most difficult professors I have ever taken at URI. She is unarguably the hardest grader I've had yet. You do learn a lot from her classes but thats because your basically studying the textbook to answer homework and take home test questions. I would avoid taking a class with her at all costs.

Honestly the worst professor I have ever had in my college career. She is extremely boring and mean. Her take home tests are close to impossible and does not offer any help. I can say with all seriousness you should not take her.

Wouldn't really recommend her she doesn't answer emails normally and most of her lectures are just slides she got from someone else and she reads off right from them. You'll really have to teach yourself on this because she's not much of a big help.

Not a very good lecture teacher at all, only reads from slideshows and doesn't elaborate on most things she just expects you to know
