Comment:
Not a lot of structure in the course other than reading and posting discussions. I found myself on my own a lot when it came to the exercises and projects and relying on the internet. Didn't post any lectures or hold live zoom sessions which made it hard to stay engaged. Grading was unrealistic sometimes. Overall not bad but not my favorite.

I really enjoyed this course. The professor was caring and was very clear in instructions. I learned so much. There is quite a bit of reading but it is very interesting. The final project was so much fun Environmental justice is such an important issue and I would gladly take it again. Thought online, the teacher connected with the students well.

You have to write some essays. There are also group discussion boards that you have to keep up with. There are a lot of readings but they are interesting.

She is a tough grader, and I found it hard to understand what she wanted in my writing. She has a small grading scale so do not miss any assignments. You do not need a textbook because she provides the text, and that is awesome, but they are long and dense readings. Tests are long, and timed writing.
