Professor Scott is excellent! I came into his class without a strong database background, but his lectures keep you engaged and helps you understand the material with ease. Homeworks can be difficult, but it was to help you prepare for the quizzes and exams. If you are in the data analytics program, I highly recommend him.

Scott is a great dude. Passionate about what he teaches & is one of the smartest people youll ever meet. he has lots of experience and knows what hes talking about, but his lectures are hard to follow and i felt as if he had trouble dumbing stuff down. exams are tricky but he does good exam reviews. hard to keep your grade up if you skip class

A very experienced man when it comes to business; gives great advice for everyone, not just business students. He makes the class easy and enjoyable. You will enjoy showing up, but you should also read the straight forward material. Definitely the easiest class I've taken, and one of the best professors I have had. Didn't the take final, got a C.

Good professor. 3 books, get them at the off campus book store or on chegg. Powerpoints online, go to class. He randomly takes attendance. Some group projects, some individual. Access, pivot tables, excel. His assignments are challenging, so watch Youtube videos by Thouin. Tests are like reviews, but he makes them tricky. Read textbook, take notes

Probably the greatest professor ever. He's battling brain cancer but will always go out of his way to make sure his students do well and really really want you to learn. Loved him!

Professor James Scott was an Amazing teacher. 3 book, but I only bought the online case study book that is required for homework. Just pay attention in class, scheme over the ppt he will be covering during lecture, if not you will waste your time just sitting there. Interesting man. You will learn a thing or two. 3 Tests ,2 GP,Hmwk
