Dr. Baham makes the information for this course easy to understand. Big group project was a major part of the class but nothing too strenuous.

Dr. Baham is one of the best professors I have had at the university. Very knowledgeable about what he is teaching and will go above and beyond to help students in need. If you are proactive in communicating with him, he will do everything he can to help.

This course is required for graduation but make sure you do all scrum meetings twice a week. Your group can easily meet without you or notice, auto losing you 5 points each time. Twice a week, 10 pts. Upper level classes usually have fewer grades, but for a class called web app dev, we definitely did not develop much. Maybe 33% coding, if that

Comment:
ONLY senior class where its basically all participation, sooooooo many small meaningless grades. Both of his classes are senior level & dont teach much more than you learned in web app. Also if you have Mason as a TA you better pray he likes you, if not youre screwed. Both refused to give much consideration during COVID Fall 2020. Not impressed.

Cool professor, though not the best at time management when it comes to helping groups. Depending on previous class experience, might assume you know how to do something you don't. Two tests based on SCRUM which are fairly simple. Group project is the main focus, and participation is mandatory.

1st half of semester is lecture heavy whereas 2nd half of semester is group project heavy. He gives time in class to work on the project, but outside work is still needed. Group project presentation was in place of a final. Awesome professor that cares about his students success. Recommend taking him. Definitely not a class you can skip.

He put a heavy emphasis on the project, processes, and scrum ritual but your grade is not dependent on the actual project.: 30% Your name on the group paperwork and individual paperwork 60% Exams 10% Attendance 5% Project Exact grading criteria was put out too late to make a decent impact on project focused groups.
