Students REALLY struggled in his class. However, it's not hard to get a B or A if u write everything he says and what's on the ppt. Seriously READ THE BOOK on info you may have missed or didn't understand. MAKE SURE TO KNOW EVERY DETAIL FROM LECTURE, especially the experiments! If you take good notes and use the book when needed, u will be perfect!

He is not a bad professor at all. These reviews scared me but if you study really well, you'll do fine. I made quizlets over everything and knew all the studies by heart (was able to describe the study and link theories to it if someone told me the names of the researchers) and did well. Its simple > the more you study the better you do. Good luck!

Professor Buchanan is a degrading professor who does not appear friendly or approachable in any manner. Most students in class (myself included) hated asking questions because we knew it would end in a sarcastic and irritated response. If you can get another prof, do it.

Overall he is a fine guy, just the teaching approach during all of the online movement for the school has been, well not the absolute best. The lectures are information heavy, and the explanations of the experimental procedures he discusses are fairly limited.

He's not really a nice human. He makes you have your camera on if you're attending through zoom and you have to be in a private space. He's just a stickler for no reason and has no sympathy for any of our problems. His class is boring and its only based on 6 quizzes and 3 tests that are graded tough. Avoid him if possible.

WORST CLASS at Texas A&M University! I was told that this class was really interesting, and easy to understand but it was the complete opposite! The professor doesn't teach the material well, and the material is so BLAND and BORING. I preferred Anatomy 2 over this class, that's how bad it was. BEWARE!

Honestly the worst professor I had throughout undergrad and grad school. Avoid taking him if possible. He was rude at any question asked in class and would just tell you to read the book better if you didn't do well on a test.
