Took during a mini-term and was not a bad experience. Lots of extra credit available. The papers were tedious and long but if you give yourself sufficient time to work on them and really use the instructions and sample paper you will get a good grade.

Dr. Liang is a solid professor. I took her class online and this was a 4 credit course. The class was HARD and the workload was next level. Grade is mainly based off 6 exams and 5 LONG papers. Final paper is 20-30 pages. However, she is not a tough grader and the extra credit & feedback is helpful. I'd recommend her. Just get ready to work hard!

I took her online for RM1 and RM2 no honor lock and no lock down browser she gives a lot of extra credit assignments. Just make sure to stay on top of your work and you'll be fine. Her class consists of 7 exams she drops the lowest exam they are 20 questions each multiple choice and some write in the answers discussions quizzes and papers take her!

Dr. Liang is amazing for research methods! She is extremelyyyy organized, I had her for RM1 and RM2. You learn a lot with her, and you learn the right way! Her LA's are also super helpful. She is easy to reach out to, her lectures are great, and even though it is a lot of work it isn't unbearable. Everything you need is given just stay on top of it

I personally liked this professor. She is a very sweet lady. My concern is with the class format, but I think all RM classes are formatted the same way. We have to write papers, do pre-class quizzes, exams, crash-course quizzes, lab assignments, attendance is taken every class. There aren't enough characters to describe the workload of this class.

In-class activities, extra credit written questions each week along with a quiz each week. 5 papers. 7 exams. A bunch of other assignments. it's a lot of work and if you keep on top of it you'll maybe pass. Her TA was very rude though I wish I could rate just him.

I loved Professor Liang! She made RM very understandable and her homework does help you pass the class, her LA's also help out during class time too. Her exams are easy and exactly what she reviews in her lectures. Just spend time understanding the homework and you'll do great!

Worst class I have taken. The professor along with the TA's were not helpful. The course load is extremely heavy which makes it hard to fully grasp the information. You have 5 (difficult) papers, the feedback provided is not helpful at all. You will anxiously wait on a grade. Were not considerate of current pandemic. Take a different professor!!

This is by far the worst professor I have ever had. She could care less that there was a pandemic due to her lack of empathy and understanding with her students. She would not give us feedback on assignments and would make multiple assignments due all in one day regardless of a national emergency. DO NOT JOIN ANY WHATSAPP GROUPCHATS. TRUST ME.

One of the worst professors Ive had at FIU. She grades attendance by participating in Iclicker questions. Theres a quiz AND an assignment EVERY CLASS. 6 exams and the final exam IS NOT OPTIONAL. Theres a discussion assignment every week and best part... youre forced into a class group. She reads off her lectures from a P.P. AVOID THIS CLASS!!

She was a good instructor. It was hybrid and her powerpoints are so specific and helpful you don't need anything else to understand everything and pass the class. There were many assignments but I ended up with over 100% in this class. idk how she was able to access our whatsapp and caught students asking and giving answers. she reported them. DONT

Dr. Liang is a really amazing good professor, she cares about students LEARNING activates and is also willing to slow down and alter how she is teaching to accommodate that. She is an entertaining professor who is very understanding of other commitments and offers an insane amount of extra credit to help you boost your grade if participated welly

There was a lot of assignments, not too hard but even with the coronavirus situations she did not adapt well to any of it. She was very cold towards students, never gave feedback and didn't care about her students. Honestly, would never take her again.

Lu Liang is nice and funny, but i've never been so happy to finish a class. She gives A LOT of work, and out of all my professors she was the least understanding with the corona virus situation. This class is not easy. She doesn't give feedback on the discussions, when students want to know what they did wrong to correct future mistakes.

I took methods II online (more work than in person) this class consisted of 5 papers, 7 exams (not hard at all), 15 pause problems (optional extra credit), 8 discussions, 9 assignments and 5 quizzes. Assignments, pause problems, discussions and quizzes are due on Sunday's. Exams and papers are due Monday. Good professor, flexible and gives feedback

Professor Liang is great! Since it was a hybrid course I only saw her a week but her lectures were informative and funny and she also allows you to work on your group discussion (which is essentially homework) in class! Every class theres a quiz and a question at the end of class before leaving but they are not difficult!

Everything except the papers aren't easy. The amount of quizzes and crash quizzes are just there as fro exit credit, the more important thing is your papers. It isn't hard but they aren't easy either, it jus a lot of work. Try not to get Alexa Barton as your TA, she doesn't know how to teach.

She is not an easy A, but if you attend every class and do well on the pop quizzes you will definitely get at least a "B" in the course.
