Great prof and pretty solid class. There's a short homework assignment every class but they only take 20-25 minutes to do, and they really impact your grade (plus he's an easy grader). He gives feedback on every assignment and truly cares about students and what they have to say. Great guy and great class for a GPA booster.

I had Cowdin 3x so far and I love how he runs class. He gives a lot of readings, but if you miss some it's not the end of the world. Some complain that he gives too much work but he's aneasy grader, allows late work, redo essays, and is flexible. Really great, I always see if he's teaching any of the classes I need so I can take his classes again.

Dr. Cowdin is one of my favorite professors on this campus. I went into Quest for the Ultimate believing it would be my least favorite class but I ended up really liking it. He has an assignment every night but they are super easy and manageable. He genuinely wants to help students + it is very apparent that he does care about his students as well

I took Cowdin for a University Seminar but I hope to be able to take one of my religion courses with him. He makes the material very interesting and genuinely wants you to do well in the class, There is homework every night but its just graded on participation. A couple essays and a group presentation which weren't too hard.

Such an awesome professor. At first, I felt like I was really going to dislike the class because it was my last choice for a seminar, but I loved it. He really opened my eyes to an array of topics and taught them very well. He does assign hw every night, 6 total essays, and 1 group project. If you don't like presenting this is the seminar for you.

Great teacher! I enjoyed his class even though sometimes it seemed to drag. The information is very interesting. Tests are easy if you do the study guide and pay attention to his lectures. Very nice guy who stays away from calling on students, which I LOVED! I hate when teachers call on you when they know you don't know the answer. overall great
