Forget about Brady, this man is literally the goat. Bellantoni makes what at times can be dry material into amazing lectures. He has so much wisdom and imparts it on his students that I wish he were my life coach. Also tests are mad easy and getting an A is cake.

I love this guy. He made lecture super interesting and enjoyable, and he explained the material in depth. It's clear he knows what he's doing, and I'd recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun gen ed.

Dr. Bellantoni is clearly passionate about the subject of Anthropology and it is shown in his lectures. Many found his lectures to be very inspiring and on multiple occasions we clapped at the end of a lecture. The tests are not too hard as long as you study the powerpoints and reading materials.

A real gem. His stories made me laugh and some of them made me cry. He has a huge heart and is not only a anthropologist, but a humanitarian. He might retire soon sadly. I learned so many valuable things from this course. You have to work for your grade, but the topics are so interesting that it's not bad at all. Love love this class and this man.

Everything in the lecture slides is hard to distinguish what's important and what isn't and he goes through slides too fast. Exams are full of what seemed to be irrelevant questions about the unimportant articles we had to read weekly and the class is too focused on pointless Native American stories and why some dude named Black Elk had visions

Professor Bellantoni makes all of lectures extremely interesting. The two midterms are very easy, and the paper you have to write is not too bad.

Amazing professor, made a pretty boring topic interesting for over 2 hours. Pretty easy class especially if you do the 5-point extra credit paper. Responded quickly to any emails I sent him and remembered me out of a class of 100+ students. Would definitely recommend.

Nick's a funny guy, and even though his lectures are long, he tries to make them funny and engaging, while teaching you at the same time. The tests are decently hard if you're aiming for an A, so don't take them as a joke. I got a B+ on my first 2 tests, but aced the final and ended with an A. Overall, he's a great teacher and actually cares!

He is so sweet and loves teaching! The only thing that sucks is the length of the class, it would be much better if it was a couple times a week instead of one night, he usually cuts it short though. This class is easy if you go to class and pay attention the entire time! He talks quickly but is passionate about everything! Read the articles!!

Dr. Bellantoni is an amazing professor and I'm so glad I got to have him before his retirement. He is so passionate about his work as the state archaeologist and besides being very fast-paced, he makes the lectures interesting by incorporating lots of personal stories. Looking forward to taking another anthropology class because of him!

He's the coolest! I had absolutely no interest in anthropology; only took it to fill content areas. But his enthusiasm and charisma made me actually look forward to lectures. While I wouldn't want to pursue the subject further, now I get why people are interested. The tests do tend to be a bit trickier than you'd expect, though.

The professor is really good, but the assignments are insane!! They expect way too much for just an intro class! Don't take it if you are looking for an easy class/a class to fulfill your gen ed requirements! It's not worth it…it's also kind of boring.

First few weeks of class were a bore, but after mid terms the lectures seemed to get more interesting. He tells his TA's to grade the exams harder than they should be graded. Would recommend this class. Would also recommend writing down every single detail you retain from lecture and reading on his exams
