I had Dr. Gitman as a Professor in the early 80's at Wright State University. His classes convinced me to become a Finance Major. Thanks Dr. Gitman for being a great Professor and the person I point to as my professional inspiration.

Worst prof ever. It's not impressive that he knows HIS own material. He wrote the book, sold it to you and then tested YOU on it. IF I wrote the book, would you congratulate me for "knowing material"? I got a C in his class, then went out and made a million my 2nd year after graduating. Let him know he's an **** next time you see him.

This guy is classic. It's funny to see this guy is STILL there [took him in '90]. Well he did write his own book then sell it to YOU. My favorite is Aunt Mary's coffee in hand, drag podium with other hand....he is just too hyped up....know your stuff or you WILL BE CANON FODDER.

Terrible teacher. Tests are not from lecture - I went to every class and got a D. Buy the HP 17B calculator and learn to program it, the TI (that Gitman wants you to use) will not help you at all.

If you are a FIN major, take him, he knows his stuff. He doesn't help students but the text(that he wrote) and lectures are very organized and clear. If you know the material you will succeed, he doesnt try to trick you.

I went to all classes and didnt go to A+ review and got a B+. But I did look at the A+ review stuff, it helps. He is pretty arrogant, but not a bad teacher, and I actually learned something. Final is tough.
