Comment:
Very condescending, not very considerate of student accommodation, and the only course instructor to not make reasonable changes to the exam during a PANDEMIC. This course is mind-numbingly boring - I would rather pull my teeth out one at a time. Grade breakdown is a lot of smaller-weighted assignments/reports/exams. Refers to the textbook often.

Comment:
Solid prof. Metabolism is a dense topic, but he explains it quite clearly. Refers to the textbook A LOT. Exams are very fair and straightforward - he often tells you the important parts to focus on in class. His lecture slides are not very useful unless you go to class. Makes a lot of Trump references.

Comment:
Dr. Jones does an excellent job of teaching a memorization-based course. He makes the lectures engaging with his humour and relevant examples. The course is VERY manageable if you put the time in-- he repeats old questions (with slight variations), the lectures are clear/well-organized, and he responds quickly and thoroughly to your questions.

Comment:
Pretty standard for metabolism, it's a lot of memorization but Dr Jones does try his best to make things interesting. Quizzes are easy, assignment isn't bad, both help bolster your mark before the final.

He was by far the worst prof I have ever had. He gets off on trick questions that are wrong only because of some obscure detail. When asked why an answer from a textbook was wrong he replied "because that's not what I taught you"

He projects a cold and intimidating image, but is quite a warm and helpful person. His course (316) is full of hard memorization - not easy to teach at all.

An outline of the topics given on the first day of classes and a subsequent study on wikipedia would be more helpful than this dude.

this guy walks around with an air of superiority. I found that treating him in the same condescending manner makes him listen to you more... but overall, not very kind and definately one of the worst profs I have come across at Queen's.
