He is really a nice guy but the lab is BRUTAL. Ask him questions as much as you can or you will have a good chance to fail.

Really nice guy, but extremely tough in grading labs. You might face things like spending 16 hours writing the lab report but get a 0 grade. The UPM's calculation and lab report calculation is way too heavy that I have to write Java codes to do the report. ( That's right, Even so 16 hours per report is required). Don't take it if you don't have to

Definitely a smart guy, no doubt there. Wish his UPM's were a bit more clear and the labs weren't graded as harshly. It makes for an inferior learning experience

He is very unclear and unhelpful. Everything he does is confusing and the labs are impossible, the average for labs is 20%. Never take Analytical chem if possible.

The labs were very difficult and I was often confused. The post-lab calculations also took a lot of time. I had to go to Hamier's office hours every other week because I would be so clueless. Precision is key.

Very poor lecturer but definitely very smart and knows what he's doing. Classes are not worth attending but you really need to understand what's happening in the labs or else his exams will be impossible.

He's one of the best profs I have ever had. So smart and helpful. You can go in and ask him anything and he will give you a comprehensible and non-condiscending answer. His class is so hard but if you go see him you will see the positive affect it has on your grades.

Really helpful and nice guy if you go see him. And make sure you do go see him if there's anything you don't get. Lab course is freaking hard however and a grade of 20% for a lab is considered normal.

Prof Hamier is nice and will help you if you ask for it. But he doesn't answer emails or have any internet access of any kind on weekends and it takes ages to get results back. He's sucks at communicating deadlines and requirements (people get confused and email him a lot). Not fun :(

Dr. Hamier is a very genuine and nice person who is always willing to help. He always treats his students sincerely and gives off a rather welcoming vibe. However, the lab itself isn't so welcoming. BE PREPARED

One of the nicest lab coordinators you will ever have. He's always willing to help you out. If you ask him, he'll literally tell you how to do your lab. Which is good, because the lab course is absolutely killer. Grade is determined by accuracy and the UPM.

Hamier himself is great! He's always willing to help and just a nice guy. The class is just awful though. The lab is terrifying and my TA just laughs at us. You seriously have to put time into these labs or you will fail.

Dr. Hamier is such a nice prof. He is very willing to help with calculations or technique if you go and see him, however no one does because the lab (and TA's!) are so terrifying. The lab is ridiculous, make sure you know the lab inside out before and be on your A game every lab or your life will be hell.

Hamier is such a nice man, and very helpful if you go to his office hours - but the lab is BRUTAL! LLR and UPM took FOREVER and the electronic grading system for the experiments is unbelieveable...1.25/10 on my first lab! Make sure you ask him for help, or you probably will fail the lab!

A bit scary at the beginning, but I wouldn´t have survived the course without him. Always available, takes as long necessary to have you understand. A bit talkative, special sense of humor.Sexy French accent! Learned a lot. Be warned, very tough course, and sometimes you´ll cry. The trick to succed: accuracy determines ur mark, nothing else.
