Gordon is one of my best instructors in SAIT. The open books exams for CHEN402 were extremely enjoyable. Physically understanding of phase behaviour is applied to my career as a reservoir engineer, and it helps me do a better job. In addition, the macros from the class are still useful for my job after 10 years.

Gordon is a sweet guy, Although does not do enough calculation examples, (he really could work on this), the guy really knows his stuff. Easygoing, cool, and explains things pretty well. He will answer all your questions with plenty of respect no matter how dumb they are. The guy can handle a joke and rarely loses his temper. 10/10 facial hair

By far one of the best professors I have had. While the concepts being taught in this course were highly theoretical and difficult to grasp at times, the instructor's firm grasp of of the subject matter allowed me to succeed in the course, since he was able to explain every topic via mathematical proofs, in order to drive the point home.

Very good teacher, clear concepts, good explanations of every topics, friendly with their students, helping and very kind enough, man of principle, committed with his professional, practical oriented lecture and examination.
