Dan is a great prof! He really enjoys what he teaches. He made sure everyone had a clear understanding of what he was looking for when grading. We had a case exam, which was different, not really to my liking but he is pretty lenient when marking it though. He is very accessible outside of class as well.

I had Dan for MGT 1000 in Fall 2019 and I would take him again. He's helpful, genuine and always approachable. 80% of the class marks are weighted on two exams so it's important to pay attention to what he says. Otherwise grades very easy and lets you know what is on the exam.

This guy is an absolute beauty of a prof; the best one I have ever had. He makes class material so simple and straightforward and tells you directly what is going to be on his exams. Nearly impossible to fail this class and no textbook needed. If you ever get the chance to have Dan take it because it will be the best class of your academic career.

Dan is great professor that really cares about the material that he is teaching. You DO NOT need the book for MGMT 1000; the class slides are all you need. Going to class is important because many times he specifically tells what diagrams or concepts are on the exam.

Dan is one of the nicest professors ive ever had! He is so kind and caring towards his students and will always be willing to help you. Make sure you do well on the two exams as they are each worth a lot. His exams are easy but studying is still a good idea. Helped me with getting into a coop program

Dan is a great Prof! He is very caring and explains material thoroughly. No need for the text book as everything on the exams is in the slides or lectures. That being said, the course is extremely test heavy (2 midterms worth 40%) which are all written. Essentially be prepared for some intense memorization. The material itself however is very easy.

Dan was such a good prof. His lectures were easy to understand because he related the topics to real life situations. I would recommend going to his lectures because he tells you what types of questions will be on the test. The tests are worth a lot, but he is a very reasonable marker and gives a lot of part marks if you have the right idea.

Dan is literally the best human who teaches at this school! If you can in his classes do it! He warns you about what to expect on tests for the most part so you just have to study, and not as much as other classes on average. He genuinely cares about the students and is constantly trying to help them out in any way he can. Also quite knowledgeable!

Dan was the best! As he presents his lecture, he tells you exactly what you need to know on the exam. All exams are written response, so memorize what he says exactly. He will do his absolute best to make sure you succeed in the course. The whole course is only marked on 3 things as well (2 exams worth 40% and a case study worth 20%).

A really solid guy who wants his students to succeed. Doesnt take it too seriously, pretty funny and really tries to be considerate with workload. All in all I would definitely take another class with Dan, I appreciated how he cares about his students. (He really helped me to get through and pass after I initially shot myself in the foot)

Dan is the man. Had him for a Monday night 3 hour lecture and honestly didn't know what to expect. Lectures were actually interesting, and he prepares you very well for the exams. 2 midterms worth 40% each, all written response. Dan tells you what to really focus your studying on so it isn't bad at all. Plus a group case, which is generously marked

Dan is an amazing prof!! I would take this class again in a heartbeat. You need to attend class because he explains exactly what will be on the test so you are not studying pointless material. There are two midterms worth 40% and a project worth 20% and no final! I really enjoyed this class and would strongly recommend taking it with Dan

I am working towards my second degree, so I have had A LOT of experiences with professors. In all of my years, I have never encountered a prof that cares as much as Dan does about his students. He understands the pressures and responsibilities we all have, and genuinely wants us to succeed. He is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone.
