Wendy is a wonderful clinical instructor. She is organized, prepared, and attentive. I felt really well prepared for my second semester of clinical. I would recommend her to any student, and I would work with her again.

Wendy is lovely! I learned a lot in her classes and she is very open to answering any questions anyone may have. She has no slides but her lectures go at a good note taking speed. Her exams are HARD. Textbooks, lectures, and honestly pure intuition and luck are necessary. Very specific wording that can trick you up (pay attention to units).

Her lectures are really good but her tests are super tricky--you often have to treat a single mc question as 4 t/f to get the right answer. She wants you to pass and she wants to help you get there, but she doesn't want to send you out to care for people if you aren't willing to put the work in. Ask questions and pay attention to your readings.

You learn a lot and she is an amazing person but as mentioned before, her tests will kill you. Pay attention in class, what she says in class will be on the exams and is ALWAYS right for exams (even if the book contradicts it). Use Quizlet, do evolve, and take good class notes and you'll pass.

Wendy's tests expect you to go above and beyond what she assigns for readings, videos, and in class. Exam wording can be very tricky so if you are terrible at MC, you are going to struggle A LOT. 3 tips: LISTEN in class; don't slack. TAKE GOOD NOTES for lecture, readings, & videos. READ her exams CAREFULLY because her Q&A can screw you over.

Exams are hard to study for. She tell you to "study everything" and expects you to know the textbook like the back of your hand. The way she words her exams is very tricky. This course was out of 2 midterms, a final, and a skills test. She also has a pass/fail paper that was due in the 3rd week of the sem, but didn't give back until AFTER finals.

As a professor, Wendy is super approachable, caring, and sweet. However, it's very difficult to study for her exams as she has no power point slides and the amount of readings required feels impossible. Definitely make this class your #1 priority because your entire grade is based on 2 midterms, a final, and a vitals skills test only worth 5%.

Wendy is an amazing clinical instructor. She definitely prepared us more than any of the other clinical groups. She is strict but she is still approachable. She cares about you and you can learn so much from her. She expects a lot from you but it prepares you so well without ever being too much. I wish I could have her for all my clinicals!

Wendy is really good at giving her students feedback, responding to emails & providing support if needed. However, I dont think she realizes how her lectures without presentation doesnt guide students when it comes to preparation for exams. She is very vague such as read Ch.32 and it might have lots of extra info than a student need to learn.

Wendy is sweet but her exams are tough. Everyone in my class also thought this but she thinks her exams "just require more thinking". Ehh... A lot of the exam questions come out of the blue and were not even discussed in class nor do they come from the textbook. All in all, good teacher but can't really prepare for exams

Wendy was a good clinical instructor . That being said, having her as a skills teacher for 1160 was challenging . Exam questions were rarely based on what she assigned or taught and every other question was a trick question. Overall, she is nice but you can never anticipate what will be on her exams .

Wendy Survival Guide: 1. Listen in class, a lot of what she says in class are on her exams. 2. Do "evolve" questions (back of P&P text chapters or online) 3. Brush up on your math skills / do your medical terminologies 4. QUIZLET > N1160 > VERY HELPFUL 5. Attend NSC (Nursing Simulation Centre) extra lab hours (serves as practice for GRASP exam)

Wendy is an awesome professor to get for term 1. She really prepares you for the PAF, and wants you to succeed in clinical and skills. Her exams aren't easy and she expects a lot, but it makes you an even better nurse. If you have her for clinical, she will single you out if you are one of the quiet ones.

Wendy is really nice. The course is hard though, you have to do all your readings! Some of her questions are worded badly/weirdly where the answers could be any of the options (ex. do you walk with your left foot or right foot first (this isnt really the question just an example of what I mean). Imo, this is the heaviest term 1 course

I'm a fan. She's super sweet, thorough, and passionate. Do your readings for her, and participate. She's content and protocall focused, worth it. I felt supported and like I understood what was my role. Do. Your. Readings. Textbook centric for exams.

She is strict and does not tolerate things usually (lateness), but she's pretty funny and nice overall. Her exams can be difficult if you didn't do ALL the assigned READINGS in the TEXTBOOKS! Her exams include slides, *TEXTBOOK READINGS*, handouts. Exams are very detailed-specific into the TEXTBOOK information so make sure you do EFFECTIVE READING!

Wendy is an "ok teacher". She is very strict, but she is nice and caring. She expects a lot from you in class (so you have to be prepared by doing all the readings, etc). Her PAF meetings take a long time if you didn't do the PAF perfect (she points out every mistake, etc and makes you correct it over and over again until you do it better)
